As A Black Man... When I Seen MOB James Hug His Grandson.., My Respect Level I Have For That Man Went Through The Roof..We Need To SeeThat ... That’s Gangsta 💪🏾💪🏾
That’s family bonding.. gangsta is just that gangsta.
✊🏿💪🏿🎯
Lets stop teaching these kids that if you in a gang or if you go to jail you’re a real one.. Not true..
These are the conversations that should’ve taken place in the ‘90’s. I’m from New York.
Born & bread Compton 3200 blocc Grreenleaf Naybahood Compton since 1975. We never understood why NYC would want this ish out here. Funerals on top of more funerals. Still don't understand why. We on the West UNFORTUNATELY born in this BS. Homies dads, moms, uncles grandad all come from the turf. We learn the turf before you learn ya ABC's out here. Trust me. #NHCC
@@Bone3200 yeah but its not like it was safe in NYC before the gangs. In the 70s and 80s nyc was a bloodbath. You'd have 400 murders a year just in one borough
Well nobody thought gang-banging in NY would stay there every state dam near started gang- banging, alot of places it faded away and some places started going just as hard as Cali.
@@jeffreymoran6234 going just as hard as Cali? 🤣Negative. Why die over a Naybahood you never even seen?! I will never get that. This BS is life out here. Trust me....it's not life where u from. You can be honest homie.
@@i-10haula88 I agree...thsts kinda my point. NY was always thorough WITHOUT LA culture. I think that's why so many other states 🤦🏾♂️ when NYC C's & b's are mentioned. Because for years, you dudes never needed this and even joked about the culture in LA....now? NYC try to look like LA, music sound like Chicago, and call yo Ghettos "Traps" like ATL. (ASAP Rocci).
I like how the East Coast & West Coast Can Understand Each-others Slang Dope 💯
One people under the sun we connected.
Respect for this comment from you homie
Legacy Lex we lost our slang and followed LA. We never said no OG bullshit and we always said words with B and C in it
@@williamdrayton7352 Alllllll facts
@@Bone3200 our words for the older street legends was "Old Heads or Old Timers"
Facts! People used to make their word bond back in the days. Nowadays people will make you feel like you too serious or aggressive for expecting them to be keep it real. Integrity is underrated.
*Eastside Low Bottoms sh*t !*
_Tappin' in from South Central Los Angeles_
Yea it's the ones that are quiet, humble and personable that'll set it the f**k OFF if they're put in a position to have to do it.
One of many things I've learned in the streets is "Watch the quiet ones". I've always had that attributed to me by others. Idk why, I'm a kool guy. Lol.
Great convo.
✊🏾✊🏾
Gotta watch the quite cause they 📣 without talking# move on ur own# 💡 think b4 you speak #b4 u see the shit # you 👃 the stink.
I really appreciate this conversation and salute Maino and the cast for real man code & G code
Great interview with Maino.
Maino hit the nail on the head. U start winning when u stop taking shiz personal! Gems!
Dont care bout nun irk me
I feel some of the stuff Maino was saying and I’m not a street dude the one thing I hate is people who give me there word and don’t back up what they say I’ve dealt with people like that and it’s very annoying especially when business or money is involved I hate people wasting my time
@@aharonemanuel4010 thanks for correcting me I didn’t realize I spelled his meme wrong lol 😂
Love this show
Thos should be retitled the rise of california gangs in New York. Black gangs been in New York and everywhere blacks migrated to. But New Yorkers definitely was more influenced
Why do you think that ?
U said it right
@@keithboykins258 drug game and Latino/Hispanic pressure - combination of both

@@Gameking92888 No shit, I lived in LA fore 12 years watts.
Too many ads are killing the vibe of the show now
When you take the adult men out of the home, you leave the children to live and behave as such. In reality as stated the OG's wasn't any sharper than the kids they left behind. Crack and poverty along with high incarceration created what was spoken and shown on this episode ..
Big moves Bro Maino All Love
Much respect from St.louis💯💯💯is that Stan on the intro of little ghetto boy
I believe thats Kokane from Pamona, CA.

Yup, we call primos woo sticks here in Ohio. We call them primos too.

This tough guy here🤣🤣🤣
Love when grown men from different cities, coasts, etc chop it up the way it should be. Always disliked when people put too much focus on that. Its american culture we all invent, create and influence each other. That's the beauty of the states in my humble opinion
👍🏻

If I lie my nose will grow like penokeyo..Love it who is that...?
*Hopefully, GC will make an appearance on Maino’s podcast.*
First 2mins accurate as shit
The trick bag is seeing all others dead or jail and you go do that dumb ish!!!!!!

12::18 we called crack and weed “grimmies” in East Oakland.
OOLEES in Boston.
Bop-Bops in Pittsburgh
Coolies and woolies in NY
Willy knock Mel out
Gangs started in NYC
Gangs but not politics and colored rags..everywhere had gangs..
It's all by design. I ride solo in TEXAS.
I thought they had programs for Ex Felons, to help them find a job back in society, and why not take a job a Burger King or a fast food restaurant, it might plant a seed in your head, if I’m good at selling food for them, how about if I start selling food myself, to my own community, and become an Entrepreneur.
The crazy thing i been saying this about NYC we didn't have gangs no in the 80's
Yes they did lol just wasn’t on no color banging shit ..EXCEPT WE DIDNT CALL EM GANGS .. it be crews , A posse .. u know shit like that
@@islandstreetmuscle5698 brother how you going tell me im from NYC. My father was the leader of the Baby Diplomat in Clinton Hills in the 60's i know about what gangs waa around. Im stated during my era which is the 80's didn't have gangs. You had crews that is it and it was probably all together you had less 25 crews.
@@Mayo2014 brother you not making sense. A crew and posse was never a gang period the posse was a poilitcal group from Jamacia who the party use agaimst its voters. That use violence. A crew a group a friends with no structure or no way to indentify them

The RAP " INDUSTRY" is Fake like Monopoly Money😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Damn shame that these dudes are really saying teenagers didn't need guidance?! 😒 This is the main reason why the streets are messed up. Even science has shown that the human brain isn't fully developed until at least 26 yrs of age. WTF
No, 1 person said that we didn’t all agree on that. Teenagers definitely need guidance brother
That why i say if crip and bloods would did Whats chicago gangs. Did in 60s.70s and 80s had laws they had to go by. They would have be powerful.

SHOUT OYT OUT TO MOB JAMES AND HIS GRANDSON
ya need someone who was there in the 1970's when home grown NYC gangs ruled the streets and gave birth to hip hop. The bronx was gang infested. Drugs and prisons ruin them and high murder rates destroyed them. Then in the 80's drug lords , drug gangs and organize drug family and crews. Plus individual Gangsters ruled with an iron fist. Also NYC crews rep their blocks, streets and boroughs they came from. And going out of towns and cities taking over hoods and going to war. Either get killed out of town, catching bodies out of town. Getting g caught and doing time for bodies or drugs. Then mid 90's came in jail dude's gave birth of their version of west coast gangs. And got out in the streets, I prefer if they had used old new york gangs names from the 70's etc. I guess they saw the Hispanics used a out of town gang called Latin Kings . So Blacks did the same. They had the God body or the 5% percenters Flag they could had unite under but I believe more that they saw what their oppressors were influenced by. So they choose to do the same. Yo during the 70's,80's and early 90's NYC was murder capital. Ya need to interview the rappers that were around d those times. Like Fat Joe will be a good start or real street dudes from that era.
