Great models. One correction (more for clarity for those that dont know, since I often call the three carbs as six paks). Pontiac had Tripower, and Six Pack (or Six Pak when it was painted on the car with the sticker package option) was for Dodge. I HATE being the "akshually" guy lol, but were getting old and younger guys might not know. Plus, a comment cant hurt. Always feel like were just hanging out. The 442 is the 68. I always had a hard time picking which I liked more, the spread quad lamps or the clustered 69-72 (which is the quintessential Olds 442 I think lol). I loved the A bodies....and some trivia. In 78 the downsizing of the A body was turned into another iconic platform, the G body (Cutlass, Grand National, Monte Carlo, Grand Prix) For cleaning...I used to wash them, and use a hand squeezer pump thingy (like a big pippette) to get a jet of water in the nooks and crannies. After that, I use the Sprayway foam glass cleaner. It leaves no streaks (use it in the house and all car glass too! Its how I discovered it, in a goody bag at a car show). Q-tips, and then, the car polish samples from car shows lol, so any car polish. (I really dont like how i sound in this comment!)
Thanks for the correction. Yes, six-pack was a Mopar thing. My first car was a beat up 1971 Pontiac T-37 (LeMans, Tempest) that worked its way south from Michigan. The odometer read 69k but the seller was honest and said it had rolled over twice. The body was in rough shape, torn seats, and no a/c. But it got me around town and to my first job. Oh, and it had a 350 V8 with a two-barrel carb and a 2-speed transmission that I always though it lost a gear because it whined over 55 mph.
@@T-JoesModelBusesandMore1210 Not really. Its youtube...plus, its supposedly a phrase people say when a channel is underrated, and I figured, maybe the algo will see it, and boost yours! I do think it will grow, likely when its really hot, so late August, or towards winter, at least. But I predict your channel will outgrow mine by the end of the year
