The leather is VERY firm!
On the real the print on the back it’s off compared to the fake
The difference in the sole is a deal killer, the fake uses most likely a polyurethane versus a thermoplastic rubber and that makes a huge difference in cushion, wear, and traction. If the fake used the right sole, it wouldn't be so bad as I can excuse the sewing.
My box is grey and yes 100 per cent real I bought them from Harrods as I don’t live in Liverpool no more ( Surrey uk ) why would you buy fake ( mine are very heavy mine are black velvet love your little shop x
Thanks for your comment jade! The grey boxes are older season ones - the white are newer season ... some shops still sell the grey boxes (old stock they havnt been able to sell yet)

Look at the gap between the back tab and the sole that’s usually a pretty decent tell
Tee BeDaGuy oh okay, I got the recent ones so that’s probably why. The lacing, stitching, font of the text looks fine
On the real ones at the back it’s a lot more pointy on the real ones but on the fakes it’s more rounded off dead giveaway, for anyone buying these recommend a full size down
Also another tip for fakes is sometimes the toe box on real ones it’s more streamline to the shape of the shoe but on fakes the toe box is more raised hope this helps

Not at first! You have to wear down your mcqueens to let the leather soften! :)
