Blind Guardian is easily the most epic band out there.

Not a huge fan of BG. Yet this song is among my all times favorites!
Epic yet emotional, medieval yet totally rock. A true masterpiece!

I never understood why Peter Jackson didn't ask Blind Guardian to write music for the Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit films. It seems quite obvious he may have never heard of this amazing band.
You'll laugh, but it actually was a thing. There were such an idea and Hansi and Peter were discussing that, but they couldn't come to an agreement. Wich is pretty sad in my opinion. But Hansi also said, that they will release all written songs as separate album. (Still waiting though)

@@hatevonkarma true, they were in talks to do it. Around that time they did the (unreleased) Ring of the Nibelungen orchestral album (which is unfinished but they've put a lot of work into as far as I know, interviews circa 98-2002)
Amazing Band. This Band's talent is unbelievable. I really enjoyed this.
It' s amazing when you're foreigner, but you can transport feelings in english which natives are unable to transport.

in the live version it sounded like he forgot to say "stone" and said "game" instead of "tale" and forgot to sing the line in the parenthesis.
