Love this Reggae band. First saw them in the 80s. Think this is my fav album ❤
Saw Misty loads of times in the UK in the 80's. This was the first reggae album I bought. Strickly punk rock before then.
Punk rock taught me about reggae. Joe sang about Ken Boothe, Leroy Smarts, and Delroy Wilson. "The Harder They Come," Johnny Too Bad, Toots & the Maytals, Lee Scratch Perry, and of course Junior Marvin. Prophet Bob said it was a punky reggae party. 40 years after hearing first hearing the Clash, it's all reggae, punk rock, and hardcore still for me.
Saw them at Bath University. Love the music and wish I could exist at this vibe level with all my heart.
Memories of a heady night at Cardiff Uni in 1983 watching Misty in Roots live. Once experienced never forgotten. 👏👏👍😎

I saw them in Zimbabwe in the 80s. What a show.
Fell in love with misty in roots in 1979 when I heard live in eurovision, saw them at Glastonbury in the 80's this album one of my favourites of all time. Peace and love to all.
Hey, I really enjoyed these guys when I saw them play live in Mutare, Zimbabwe in the 80' s. I will never forget, we were having such a gas,one of my friends went to wake his wife and kids to bring them back to Sakubva to see these guys.
These guys toured Zimbabwe way back. Then we were a great, carefree lot.
Mi di deh!

Yeah man used to have this album, carried it around , played it and partied. Best was hearing them live and putting your head in the bass bins.
Until now, the only song I had from this group was Poor & Needy. Thanks for these soulful sounds.
The drummer is fab.

Saw these guys in Edinburgh in 82. Front row - sitting on the speaker stack! They looked totally wasted till they started playing, were then totally on fire, then as soon as they walked off they looked wasted again. But what a gig!

These guys came to deeply vale free festival touring with the ruts in the late 1970's I can't remember exactly the date cos we were all stoned! They wouldn't come on stage 'till they smoked some green, everyone was smoking sputnik shit and sticky black. Luckily I had half a pound of Congolese bush and sorted them out, they came on stage and blew our minds.
Sticky Black. Memories.
amazing memory bro....thanks for sharing.
Still get squidgy black here mmm👍✝️
Love Misty In Roots - they knock Bob Marley right off his perch. Saw them live once, unforgettable! Thanks for posting.

(:-) (:--)!! One of the best Roots Reggae Band Ever. "The Lord standeth in the congregation, and rules among the universe. How long will we unjustly accept the persons of the wicked, to defend the poor and fatherless. Justice to the afflicted and the needy. Foundations of the earth are out of course, Man so blind theiy neither see nor understand, they walk in Darkness."

Great British Reggae Band who I saw during my Punk day's at a place that put a lot of bands on stage, it was something that nobody mentioned at the time, that the Audience was a mix of white youth some Punks and some not along with Black youth and Rastas all enjoying the music and peaceful vibe and the herb or hash being passed around. The late 70s early 80s definitely changed society and the bigotry of the years before, I was told that Racism is taught not a natural feeling, I actually believe in the ways of Rastafari but have never had dreads or thought I was a black man by that I mean I don't talk Jamaican and don't only go for black women if a woman is beautiful it doesn't matter what colour she is , I have 2 mixed race children with 2 different women and I married the 2nd woman sadly I am not with her now but we are friends and since we divorced i have been alone ,my punishment for disrespecting her.

Realize we livin' in Babylon. Disgustin'. The New Jerusalem is come soon! He is coming soon!
Its a bit to fast

I thought so too. Maybe CZcams playback speed can be adjusted on some devices, but not all CZcams implementations will allow that. I can adjust the playback speed, and 75% is too slow - you have to select 'Custom' to get 90%, which is better, it sounds about right.
