  • Yemen is a place not a lot of people talk about and there is no reason for that to be the case. This is a cradle of civilization in every respect, and its people have contributed great deal to human history. Even as it is home to now the largest humanitarian crisis of our time, Yemen is still overlooked by the rest of the world. This is the story of the forgotten cradle, one that I hope will make everyone

Not many people know about Yemen’s history and culture. This incredibly interesting country is going through a lot of problems from long time ago, many of them caused and provoked by outsiders

It's evident that Yemen should be so much more than it is today if it wasn't plagued with war. Same can be said with most of the middle east.

    Salam,
There is a kingdom that kept the name Sheba/Sheva in central Ethiopia, which is called the Kingdom of Shewa. Historically, Yemen and Ethiopia, were related kingdoms.

2:09 Minor correction: Ge'ez and Amharic are actually not descended from Sabaic. They're in a different sub-group of the Semitic family, with Sabaic being closer to Arabic and Hebrew.
