Yes, you receive a bracelet when you enter the concert area. At the end of the concert you're supposed to give it back so it can be reused. The bracelets are compostable. Coldplay stopped doing tours for a while as they wanted to figure out how to make the concerts more sustainable and enviroment-friendly. Also they try to make the concerts more inclusive for people with visual impairment and hearing impairment. Also, 10% of their earnings goes to environmental and social projects. They don't just do cool concerts, it's also awesome that they're aware of the footprint of concerts and are trying to make it as small as possible.

This location, São Paulo, is in the southeast of Brazil, although it is a fact that in Brazil this type of show is frequent, it is a natural mark of the Brazilian...

If I remember correctly this was the song that sprung the idea for the wristbands. While/after playing it live for one of the first times, the band, together with a buisness partner, invented, manufactured, tried them out at a couple of smaller concerts and got the technology ready for their world tour a couple of months later.
The lyric "We'll be glowing in the dark" just works so well with the wristbands

Sao Paolo is probably the best venue to go to one of their concerts. This stadium fits 100,000 people. By the way, they have done concept albums from the beginning and everything from the choice of songs for each album to the design of their clothes, further on the look of the stage, all of that is part of that initial concept. As to your comment that the lead singer, Chris Martin, is very talented: Yes, indeed! At least he is the creative head (musically) of this band. He is the one to come up with an idea to a song and the other members add their ideas. As far as I know only one of their songs has been thought of by the bassist.

Charlie Brown was the first song ColdPlay designed the wristbands for, back in 2012! We saw them in 2022 right up at the front of the runway and the corner of the Stage. When Chris was skipping around during Charlie Brown he kicked confetti right on us! It was the most amazing concert. Now my Son and I have seen them 4 times together and he has attended 5 concerts since 2022. I'm more of classic rock, alternative, and older music fan... but honestly the Coldplay concerts are the BEST I've ever attended.

They are a stadium band so the majority of their shows are between 60,000 to 70,000 people.

You gotta check out their the more recent shows from their tour going on right now. The wristband effects are much more cooler than the ones back in 2016/17. But great reaction nonetheless🙌🏻
