Thanks as always for reacting to my story Ari! 🥰 This is probably my favorite one I’ve written since I kind of based Eliza and Meredith of off myself when I was still at school. I didn’t have the best friendships and a lot of them were really toxic, but I didn’t have anyone else so I stuck with them until pretty much the end of school when I finally dropped them. Then I began making friends online and honestly I’ve never felt better. A lot of them have either stopped talking to me or quit social media, but the ones who I still talk to are the best. You’re all always there for me when I need it most and have honestly saved me in more ways than I could imagine. It was nice adding a little bit of my own life into my stories for once while still being subtle about it. It takes a lot of weight off of my shoulder and honestly really helps with my mental health 😅
I’m guessing you’ve had a lot of toxic friendships in the past too considering how you talk about such topics. All I can say is I hope you’ve found better friends now, whether they be irl or online. You honestly don’t realize how much of a positive impact they can have on you until you need them most. Whenever you’re down and message them about how you feel they’ll always be there to sit and listen and give advice and it’s the best feeling 🥲
Didn’t realize how long this comment is becoming so I’ll end it there. For everyone who’s reading the comments, I hope you all have friends you can count on and talk to. If not I hope you find your people soon. It may take days, months, weeks, even years, but you’ll find your true friends eventually. If you feel you friends are being toxic, confront them about it, if they act weird and defend themselves it’s best to drop them. It’s better to be alone than to be around people who don’t care about you. 💙

Finally a story where the main character is the mean/antagonist person! I always see other stories that the main character is “soooooo nice” but I like how the creator of this story switched it up a bit!
