If i was ever in a band and had the choice of any drummer it would be Phil, an animal on the drums and a complete raving lunatic, a right character and the perfect band member.
That's what was great about Phil, he wasn't just speed and power. He could really swing when he played. A song like "I'm leaving here" has so much groove to it.

People don't realize how good Phil was at "pulling Back in time" he was when very slight variances in time happened between members when they are playing live.. he was a master at adjusting on the fly.. Miss Ya' Philip...Not to mention.... well, you know...RIP give 'god' a piece of your mind and a lot of HELL!!!

No one CES close to that drumming. Saw the Overkill tour in 78. His speed was phenomenal. His double footwork On the bass drums. Bests any body Who thinks they have it mastered nowadays.Rip Phil.
Yea waset the studio ver about 7min. I remember seeing the length. Then the band lays off just b4 the solo. But drums keep going and im like .... 3 more fucking mins? This guys a beast. Since then i have discoverd a band called weakling. Try 20 min songs
