Windows phones had the greatest memory management of any phone ever. Shame, the app store failed them.
They didn't accept java, they wanted to be like apple. Not many coders can code in c++ instead of java or swift
App were all controlled by Apple where developers failed to develop Apps for Windows eco system. If Windows Os had enough apps I think it would rock these days

I have been a huge fan of HTC phones. I started my journey of smartphones with HTC wildfire in 2010. Since then I had owned about 5 HTC phones. Last one was U11, which is still functional and beautifully!! But retired it just two days back for I phone12. To be frank, I phone is no where near the user experience of HTC. HTC was a pioneer of many things but could never be a leader!! If possible pls make a video of HTC. I will be happy to watch.

I used CDMA sim on htc phone, those were the only phones that looks premium and provided stereo speaker

Not only nokia those days all brand was amazing and ahead , like LG , sony , htc , motorola .. this all brand was legend include nokia . LG was amazing softwere experience, sony best camera , htc give most advanced and new trend features , motorola new inovation and good concept and nokia all rounder type . Sumsung , iphone was flagship level . if u search any old famous phone between those brand all was amazing more then this nokia phone

My father used to use the Nokia Lumia 540 almost some 8 years ago...... I still have the phone running on windows 8.1(after update) I find it amazing to watch how 512mb of ram was quite capable of providing such a smooth experience.........

I had a lumia 950 and a lumia 730. I loved both so much. And i loved the windows mobile . Only lacked apps.
But still the camera application by Nokia at that time , Lumia camera is still having one of the if not the best pro modes.
I would love to see a lumia 950 and lumia 1020 camera shots today. i think the lumia 950 camera can still go neck and neck with the best camera phones to date for some scenarios.
I still have lumia 532, but it's parts are not available now... I miss those days where i was only one in hostel to have such a unique phone... But Android won the hearts of many since it had apps, and updates.

I had a Lumia 520 which I followed with a Lumia 820. The 820 was a really great phone. Great screen, great camera, good battery, and excellent in hand. It still works, although none of the services work anymore.

Even OS seems smooth in comparison to its android counterparts. I was a S4 user but loved this one. They should have worked on app market.
My father used to have lumia 625 and that was one of the best phones with a faster screen touch reaction it would beat all vivos and oppos 👍👍

I had the Lumia 1320. It had just 1gb ram but worked smooth as butter and for cameras, it had a 5 MP rear and 0.7 MP VGA front camera but I would say that the pictures were so good that you can get them print them for upto 5*7 image size, good for any wall or table frames. So if they could do so good with just a single lense at that time, then I wonder why isn't Nokia able to match Or do better today with multiple lenses?
I think this is something that nokia should ponder and work on providing some good quality camera on the current and upcoming phones.
Because nokia camera department ex workers are not with them now they all with Huawei and pixel

I've extensively used Nokia Lumia phone. Nokia Lumia Windows Phone was my favorite one indeed. Camera quality was superb, touch screen sensitivity awesome at that time including screen clarity. In 2013, it was not the time for social media as currently we are connected .....truly just started it's initial journey.....Here is the catch....Nokia Lumia phone book used to display dynamic images of faces of saved contacts also linked with Facebook.....amazing!!! Thus, whenever I used to look at the screen of Nokia Lumia, a different set of small small images (faces) of your contacts in it's tiles type home screen was visible....It was immensely emotionally supportive while at that time I was posted at Mumbai and away from my hometown Kolkata...eventually used to miss my family and friends.....Thanks for the video.....That Nukia Lumia phone is still in my archive alongwith few more old phones i.e. Nokia 6600 etc....Thanks for the video.....

I used make fun of Samsung and there experience of android, and now ironically I'm using Samsung A52 DX

I used Lumia 620 and definitely that time its one of the smoothest phone ever to use even after one year of usage thanks to Windows platform . Yes there are lot of restriction but the OS is so optimised that you get that smooth buttery satisfied feeling after using it.

I still have Lumia 950 and the pureview photos are far better than current flagships; keep zooming and it will maintain the quality, they might not be as punchy as they lack these latest algorithm driven smartphone photography.

My father brought Nokia 540 Dual Sim in 2015 which has Windows 10 (after update) and is still working fine. It was our first smartphone in our family and was very user friendly and easy to understand for a first time smartphone user (I guess) The only drawback for windows OS system was that it was too closed and very little good apps as compared to Androids.
Is it still working. Does it support whatsapp and Instagram?
@@akshaymahesan8869 no my friend, phone is working fine but unfortunately most of the apps it used to support earlier stopped supporting. WhatsApp stopped windows 10 mobile support way back in 2019 or 2020. And similarly most of the apps stopped supporting almost all apps, no Facebook, no Instagram, or WhatsApp even Skype stopped. Even the Microsoft store is very glitchy. But again it was a completely different feeling back then, a very unique & mesmerizing one, especially due to live tiles and dark theme, when there were apps and games used to support the OS.

Even I had this phone. Best build and design at the time. Love it. Still have it.
