Which performance of Gluck's "Che puro ciel" do you prefer? 0:00 Jakub Józef Orliński 3:01 Philippe Jaroussky 7:41 Anne Sofie von Otter 13:29 Bejun Mehta 19:35 Bernarda Fink
Bejun Mehta is more subtle and sounds more intimate - his voice has a very enticingly beautiful and comfortable sound. he also has an exotic expressiveness that brings the otherworldly into this most pleasurable listening experience. yes, the song and story are perfectly sublime, enchanting, and lovely! Touche! Yes indeed, Mehta is the man - !st place by a million miles, i dare say! 💐💯
I"m afraid, it's absolutely impossible to choose. Every thinger has their own charm. Really, just can't decide. Thanks a lot for the immense pleasure!!
It's not a competitive sport. It's an art and subjective preference. People with little achivements of their own often have obsession with the rankings of others.
The only voice suitable for this role (Orfeus- a male) is Jakub's. Masculine countertenor and you have no doubt it is sung by a male... His voice is shiny metallic with lots of emotions. So Jakub Jozef Orlinski. I know female singers sing this role even more often than males... All of the singers are fantastic but out of them only Jakub has the real voice for it.
Jakub Józef Orliński !💯❤️!

what an interesting and innovative orchestral background ... unusual in Gluck
JOCHEN!
J.J.Orlinski. Sa voix si particulière haute et sensuelle.
Kathleen Ferrier...
None of the counter tenors are suited. Otter is then best of the 5 listed but JANET BAKER is still way ahead.
