"Classical Music of Istanbul" is a project about Ottoman Classical music masterpieces of some composers who came from different cultures such as Turkish, Greek, Armanian, Persian etc.
The project is performed by Michalis Kouloumis (Violin) and Baha Yetkin (Turkish Oud)
The concert was played on the 26th February 2017 at Colet House, London.

Many of these Kantemir melodies are very beautiful. Baha, that was a beautiful taksim prelude, with that ud sounding particularly mellow. All the videos from this concert are wonderful. I wish I’d been there.

Thank you very much Rob! I enjoyed so much while I was playing, I believe Michalis too. I hope one day we can play this concert again🙏🏻

@ Who makes your ouds?

I have two ouds; one is from Ramazan Calay (on the stand) the other is from Faruk Turunz which I played in this piece.
