  • Time for our first review of a belt and its great to have the chance to do just that with a Dior Belt. This belt was shortened so we get the chance what type of filler may have been used to see just how worth it these belts may be.

I used to have a Fendi belt that I bought many years ago. It was fine for a while, but I stopped wearing dress clothes. One day when I needed it, I saw that the surface was coming apart and it had sticky adhesive that had come to the surface. I will never buy the fancy fashion brands again. There are several great casual style companies that make belts from great leather (Pigeontree Crafting, Carmine Jack, Hollows Leather and others), but so many dress belts are just garbage.

Yep, veg tanned full grain butt or shoulder is really tthe best type of leather for belts. The leather on those luxury brands, be it belts or bags, is usually of poor quality & highly modified/corrected to make it appear better than it is. But those buying such products don't really know much about raw materials & bling & logos are what they are looking for. 🤠
