While Cell was fun he was literally a rip off of other villains, in perfect form anyway. He took Frieza's fun OTT villain stuff and Vegeta's pride and love for battle. He was still awesome but far from perfect. Same with the arc
@@cenderdragon he was a rip off because he had the CELLS of Frieza and Vegeta so as he evolved showed different traits of the warriors he was comprised off. Nobody in DBZ has been able to replicate what he gave us. Each Arc has it's own famous moment Frieza: Super Saiyan Transformation Cell: Cell Games + SSJ2 Gohan Buu: SSJ3 + Fusion + Majin Vegeta (honestly if I were to criticize a DragonBall villian it wouldn't be one from Z show but Jiren or Broly (Z)

In Z the only villain that beat Goku was Vegeta in the Saiyan Saga. And it was Gohan in Great Ape that defeated a SEVERELY weakened Vegeta.

I love the similarities between Gohan and cell. Cell could have killed all of them, instead he toyed with them untill Gohan went ssj2. Then Gohan played with cell untill he was going to blow up the world then goku died.
Gohan should have learned his lesson then about playing with opponents he is obviously far powerful then. But yet he did the same thing with super buu when he could have easily beat him after he became "perfect" with training from old Kai.
For a time although he did nothing, it wasn't untill super when Gohan wasn't the strongest z fighter at some point. He was at cell, he would have been stronger then vegeta and goku had he kept training at the start of the buu saga, and ultimate Gohan was stronger then super buu.

I've always liked the Japanese soundtrack to DBZ but the soundtrack that accompanies the English Dub is next level classic. So many timeless pieces like this one, Gohan's SSJ2 theme and Goku's SSJ3 theme.

In my eyes Cell it's one of the best Villans of the DBZ Series, and he's my personal favourite Villan. Cell was arguably the Z-Warrior's most difficult opponent and not just because he was strong but also because he was strategic (a rare trait for a Dragon Ball villain). He has the cells of all the Z-Warriors and their enemies (most predominantly Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Freeza) which he can use to his advantage both in fighting abilities and psychologically. Previous and following villains were quickly surpassed in the arcs that succeeded them but in the Majin Boo Saga no one matched let alone surpassed Cell till Majin Boo himself came. He even not only made Goku give up but is the only villain to successfully kill him. Cell is easily one of the more iconic Dragon Ball villains and his influence reflects that. Despite bein alive for only a couple years he led way for the Saiyans to surpass the SSJ wall and allowed Piccolo to become one with Kami. His defeat also allowed Mr. Satan to go from world champion to world's savior who later went from one-note gag to a greedy yet decent goofball (legit) hero. Dragon Ball is often perceived as super simplistic never taking any risks with it's story and characters but Cell is a surprisingly complex character. As already mentioned, he has the cells of all the Z-Warriors and as such he shows numerous personality traits of them such as Vegeta's ego, Piccolo's cunning, Frieza's faux politeness (without the sarcasm), Daimao's sadism, and the Saiyan's lust for a challenge. This also ends up being his downfall as he makes the same mistakes he criticized the Z-Warriors for making. ☯️✌️

Cell was always one of the most dangerous villains in Dragonball. Goku knew he didn't have what it takes to defeat Cell at that point in time and had Gohan (half human, half saiyan is broken when enraged) deal with him.
No, he is weak as shit. He has a limitation, he cant absorb more power that that, unfortunately, that limitation is way beyond were the power levels of everyone are right now. Super Cyborg 17 from GT on the other hand, was able to become stronger endlessly.
He wont explode, like Cell would, by absorbing a lot . I know, you are a Cell fanboy, but Super C 17 is the strongest ever created.
His abilities to get stronger and stronger and he never gets exhausted. THAT is unbeatable, so he was destroyed by STORY.

First off when goku went into the chamber cell was only in form 2....and he spent wasted time training gohan to become ssj over training with vegeta which would of pushed both of them to new heights faster and he let vegeta and trunks go in first for no explained reason....goku literally figured out how to match perfect cell but cell can regenerate and that near death experience from the warp kamehameha like the final flash did before it made him stronger due to the saiyan potential growth cells in him plus goku gave him a senzu bean which means he got another zenkai boost.....goku figured out ultra ascended ssj grade 2.5 variant very fast in the chamber and chose to instead work on gohan who didn't even know he could go ssj 2 and both of them chose to master ssj first rather than trying to just increase power like vegeta and trunks did....goku realized his speed was crucial...even gohan was shocked at how strong his father got when he spent so long training his son....goku found time I guess while gohan slept ate bathed and he also made gohan strong without him knowing about it subconsciously....goku saw gohan for a moment hit a level he didn't know existed....that made him realize gohan would beat cell....not himself so he chose not to make himself the best for once....he got strong enough to fight cell alone but he also didn't realize how strong his regeneration skills were cause goku always had a plan b and his was warp kamehameha cause cell didn't know he had that ability
