Wow, never been but the UK roads look so different! I can’t imagine driving with yellow stripes on the left with white lines on the right, that would definitely throw me off 😅 but still looks like a beautiful trip! ❤️👍🏻
Driving was STRESSFUL! I tried it a few times and just couldn't do it. Brenden was the trooper and drove 99% of the time. Oh man and the roundabouts are insane to do opposite of what you're used to.

I've definitely been dreaming of going back to the English countryside, and we felt like we needed more time in Scotland as well.

Love the bookshop name - Bell, Book and Candle! ( great movie too ). I think I could camp out on the Cliffs of Moher for hours... I have a treasured photo of my parents with that back-drop - I really need to get to Ireland ( family from County Clare ). Trip of a life-time and thank you for sharing it with us!! Jacqueline
Thanks for watching! I didn't end up being Eighth Life there as it would not fit in my luggage. But that book has been on my radar and wish list for awhile. I always look for it at bookstores, but have yet to spot it. I hope you make it to Ireland someday, it is beautiful! ☘️
I'll have to pass the book on to you after I've read it - I thought of you when I read the synopsis, knowing you like Russian settings. I love to pass books on to someone that I know will read it. ☺@@GloriaZThompson it was gifted to me based on it being historical and a chunker! my sister knows me well! I'm drawn to a long book 🤣 just getting around to finishing The Gilded Hour today - started it mid September ( 747 pages! - I need to retire so I can read full time!! ).
