Marilyn never posed for Playboy, Hefner bought the pics he published for his first edition of the magazine. Also, Dimaggio had the red roses delivered to Marilyn’s gravesite for 20 years (his weekly order of half a dozen long stemmed French Baccara blooms) after her death by Parisian Florist in Hollywood. To this day, it’s said that this florist shop will give you some flowers to take to Marilyn if you let them know that you’re going to visit her gravesite.🌹🌹🌹

I met the man who discovered her at the war plant where she was working. He had an affair with her (of course) and they remained close and he spoke with her not long before she died. He told me that he was sure she was killed. From his conversation with her he felt there was no way she was suicidal. One other small note, Marilyn never posed for Playboy. Hefner bought the photos from a photographer who shot them for a nude calendar.Used and neglected her entire life.

I knew all the conspiracies on her death including the one that the Kennedy 's had her killed. She actually spent many days in her bedroom. She liked to lay around naked between the sheets and sleep. Towards her end, she was very unhappy. Thanks so much for doing this video.

In the years after Monroe owned the home, it was the residence of at least two people in the entertainment industry, including actress Veronica Hamel (Hill Street Blues) and later, director Michael Ritchie.
During remodeling by Hamel and her husband, surveillance and bugging equipment was found in the roof and walls. The equipment was thought to have been installed secretly during the time Marilyn Monroe was allegedly involved with John F. Kennedy or Robert Kennedy in the early 1960s, although this has never been verified.

Reports say that Monroe threw herself into making her house a home. Shortly before her death, she traveled to Mexico to buy authentic furnishings and art work - some of which were found still in their shipping boxes when they found her body. The last check she ever wrote was for a white chest of drawers. She even had an herb garden planted on the gated property that sits at the end of a cul-de-sac. Much has been made of the fact that she installed a plaque on the house with the Latin phrase “Cursum Perficio” translating to “My Journey Ends Here.”

I just read in the NY times that Richard would’ve been moved as of 2009 but it never happened. What a shame. I think that’s absolutely horrible, and disrespectful and lewd of Richard. Screw that guy. I hope Marilyn gets moved.

Reading about her made me realise why people are mad that Kim Kardashian wore her dress to the MET. It really was a historic piece, that shouldn’t have been tampered with. She also went through a lot for a 36 year old woman, but she made her short life count. RIP

I think Dimaggio contracted a flower shop to always put fresh flowers on the grave for the next certain amount of yrs, I dont think he went himself everyday.

I believe she was one of the first to be on Playboy centerfold or even on the front cover of Playboy (Marilyn Monroe) it would make sense that Hugh Hefner would be next to her.. rest in peace 💯😇💐🌹

Love how it says one of the most famous stars in Hollywood history. In today’s world that be a pretty big deal but back then Hollywood (Movies and TV) was no more than 20-25 years old.
