I think the problem about these youngsters is that they are speaking of their lived experiences and things that some of us South Africans do not want to admit. I'm in my 30's and shocked at the vast difference between us and the South African Gen-Zee's. Perhaps depending on where you grew up, the general climate was respect and being cordial. You can't do that with many of these kids now, okare it bothers them to acknowledge that not everyone is a peer.
And it is really funny to witness the ignorance of some South Africans hoarding iup on artificial colonial borders like African countries sprung up the way they look now. If only you knew how we looked before they cut us up only to stitch us up in all the wrong places. Many of you are despising your own brothers and sisters, yet many speak nothing of European foreigners who literally own this country. But anyway, ba tla re we talk too much.
Just by the way, the Western belt of Africa holds royalty. Before artificial countries, there was Negroland. But then again, our amazing education system can never teach you history.
This is a beautifully done video. These youngster's parents make me think of my own parent, even now there's things I wouldn't dare say or do because of my upbringing. Unfortunately now we have in the majority, a buddy-system parenting.

@@MatomeMatshwi "Things"??? That's just disrespectful and honestly unacceptable!!! I'm South African born and raised Zulu and been in the US for the pas 5 years, Not every Nigerian is bad and i wouldn't want to be associated with bad South Africans either, Think of it this way... Would you want to be referred to as a rapist in Nigeria because South Africa is the Rape capital in the world???
Of course not, so yes, most Nigerian's sell drugs, human traffic and scam people, but that's not all Nigerians.
Let's have humility when addressing people, instead of making an emotional argument, please be considerate!!❤🙏

Why say so. These kids will still fit right. They know first and foremost they are Nigerians and where home is. Kudos to their parents they have not lost what makes them Nigerians. The spirit is still vibrating from the way they speak and mannerism. So rest.

They have acquired the SA accent doesn't dim the Nigerian spirit or make them less Nigerian. The way you treat non SA will forever make them not integrate. If these kids decide to leave and go to the UK or America , this will say a lot about Nigeria. Why would they rather go and live in the UK or USA & not back home ? What does that say about Nigeria ? If u want to go that route please think harder.

Im actually shocked at what these youngsters are saying about our kids. First of all, the issue of "ukulumela" i thought its still done in all households, you will not just say "hi" to an older person, hi what, dog? The second issue of icurfew? My daughter who is now 37 years and only hadva child at 35 years old, had a curfew until 21 years old.
Greeting, that also, at work i fought with other races because they dont know how to greet.

@@dirxtope I wouldn't have watched the video at all if I didn't have an open heart. You actually seemed very disappointed every time they had something positive to say about SA and couldn't hide it. Maybe you should apply your own advise to yourself and have an open mind about the country that has hosted you almost your entire life and quit the negative Nigerian mentality that your parents fed you about our country. The half Nigerian, half Kenyan girl was very bias and spewed nonsense about almost everything. The less she said about amapiano the better cause clearly she doesn't understand the genre enough to comprehend the lyrics, which is rather embarrassing since she doesn't even wanna set foot back in the country whose music she will die for 🙄.
