Okay but imagine if Zelda's move-set actually involved her being able to move freely between her Hylian and Light Dragon form! Either with partial transformations (an arm changing into an outstretched talon for a strike) or using a full transformation for a finishing blow. It would give her the opportunity to keep her traditional light magic based move-set from previous games, but also add a nuanced melee mode, which might even call back certain elements of her fencing in the original Hyrule Warriors.
A game like this could help tie up all the loose ends from the past in TOTK
A companion story with a playable Zelda would of tie up loose ends as well if not for the cancellation.

Purah and Robbie were already age or calamity as a single character using divine beast related tech.
Technically two as a team.
They would need to have some sort of time travel again in order to get Sidon, Yunobo, Riju, and Tulin... There's no way Link and Zelda would be able to live another 100 years, and Terrako already sent them back to their proper timeline after the events of Age of Calamity.
I think if they want to do something like this it would have to be another timeline because AoC doesn’t really lent itself to a sequel, especially not to TOTK. If something like this was to be made it would have to be another timeline split, maybe one where Terrako is shot forward in times and Link catches Zelda sending them both back.
An idea I had is that maybe Link was able to catch Zelda at the beginning of the totk story and they both got teleported to the past

Terrako doesn't know they're going to the past, he joins and ends up sucked back in time with them.

How I think this would work is something is changed (Like Terako or something) when Link and Zelda find ganondorf's mummy. When Ganondorf makes the cavern collapse and Zelda falls and Link dives down to grab her, he actually does manage to grab her hand and they're both teleported to the past.
The thing about Ganondorf reawakening in an Age of Calamity Sequel is... he cannot actually reawake, the reason the seal of Rauru remaned in tact is Because Hyrule Castle was build as a Supporting Column for Rauru to keep his power intact, a stone tablet that you can find in a cave beneath Hyrule Castle explains this phenomenon that if the Castle is no more the seal will vanish fully over time.
Considering that Hyrule Castle hasnt been touched for a 100 years because it is guarded by Godlike Tanks, this would be the result of the seal to break.
Age of Calamity gave an outcome where Hyrule Castle was almost freed from Ganon's grasp.
Therefore they had plenty of Time to repair everything.
This would lead to the Prevention of Ganondorf's revival and Therefore to a time paradox because the reason Rauru was maybe able to save Hyrule in the First place is Because Zelda helped the Sages to distract Ganondorf.
Terrako's Doings prevented the Resurrection, and Therefore also destroyed the Loop... Maybe we can build on this more uppon.
Maybe Sonia doesn’t die because Link is there at the conversation and he jumps in right before the blow hits her with his shield, maybe somewhat similar to what happened with King Rhoam’s shield cutscene
Nuh-uh. No way that's gunna work 'cuz Ganondorf killed her in cold blood, stealin' her stone in the process. Which was the catalyst that started this feud.
@@truelionofhylia8152 Potentially he steals someone else's stone or finds a way to get a different one, maybe from Mineru or a non-killing way (unlikely) and Sonia lives, with Link fighting Ganondorf before he flees from the scene
Considered Age of Calamity is a semi prequel to Breath of the Wild and Zelda’s tiny guardian Terrako have created an alternate reality where the Champions didn’t perished, a sequel is a must need!
Ganondorf may lay in dormant beneath Hryule castle. And the Imprisoning War is the perfect way to explore both past and present while given more Ganondorf a backstory as well as the origin of the Zonai race.
Plus, Kotake and Koume made brief appearances in Tears of the Kingdom so bringing Twinrova back would be a special treat as well!
I just don’t believe with how AoC ends, it’s able to tell a story about the Imprisoning War. Hyrule is still standing, Calamity Ganon was sealed away for another 10000 years, and Ganondorf was trapped under Hyrule for over a 100 years anyways. If there was to be a Hyrule Warriors game based on TOTK it would have to be alternate world.
@@annieandelsieofarendelle3294the calamity did still begin at Hyrule Castle in Age of Calamity, which was what apparently loosened the seal on Ganondorf in the main timeline, and Zelda is not there acting as an emergency plug for 100 years, so the same concept could still work even if it is 100 years earlier.
Edit: thinking more about it, the dragon of light is probably still a thing in the aoc timeline, due to timey-wimey time traveling shenanigans, which likely means that this particular Zelda is forcefully destined to end up in the distant past, regardless of the timeline. However it also kinda means that the events of the imprisoning war would be fated to remain unchanged, since Zelda would indeed need to become a dragon for everything to work anyway…. I think?
@@AbeM. I kind of doubt it. While Calamity Ganon did do some damage, Hyrule was still saved which mean Ganondorf’s seal wasn’t allowed to awaken and even then it took 7 years for the seal to fully break this preventing the events of TotK altogether so it would have to be another Zelda.
@@annieandelsieofarendelle3294 from what I understand, the castle itself is the seal, and it’s one of the places in AoC that did receive heavy damage.

4:54 I was thinking that The secret stones only just amplify the users current powers. So instead Link's secret stone would give his signature bullet time/flurry rush a huge buff so he could sheild surf at mach 10 or something.
I kinda wish now that totk actually was in the past, link caught zelda and they both went into the past, and everything play out just like totk but in the past
Maybe for the building mechanic you could have a Gummi Ship style construction system that gets fed into the Autobuild that everyone would share
This would be a really good chance to flesh out the characters from the past more, as well as their relationship with Zelda and now a whole bunch of other Wild era characters too. I'd also love for the Champions to be able to meet Ganondorf, especially Urbosa and Revali.
I was expecting him to mention something of the nightmare fuel that is gloom spawn, it could be much more terrifying in HW because maybe they could be some boss especially since after their defeat it summons Phantom Ganon

I really enjoyed Age on Calamity, but story wise, it always felt like a fan fic, which seems to be a pattern with these licensed Warriors games. I wish they would try instead to flesh out the past events as they actually happened.

If Link prevents Rauru from sealing Ganondorf he literally erases BotW/AoC plots cause without a sealed Ganondorf there will be no Calamity Ganon to destroy Hyrule on Zelda 17th birthday.

You missed a lot unfortunately:
●The [Build] Mechanic would be too big to fit into the game and would most likely only be used by the local Blacksmith and as a Story Concept in an attempt to create more allie forces.
●Link will not be needed in the Ancient Past if the Mysterious Zonai Warrior can wield the Master Sword, besides Link will most likely be needed more on the opposite end.
●This potentially should be the era that tells the Story about how the [Sheikah] are willing to show such undying devotion, loyalty and resolve for the Hyrule Royal Family.
●You didn't mention [Phantom Ganon], Ganondorf's Shapeshifter, Spy, Mole and Body Double.
● You forgot about the [3 individuals] that would eventually become the 3 [Elemental Dragons].
● As much as TOTK Characters coming to the Imprisoning War would be interesting, chances they'll do the same thing as they did with Impa and take the pre-existing models of another character and give them the name and personalities the supposed Champions's bred children when they looked young and spry.
●Regrettably I don't see how Kohga would be able to fit into the story, especially on the fact that goofball has no means to transport himself to the same time period that Rauru's Secret Stone has taken Zelda to.
I don’t know if a whole game could be built upon the imprisoning war. If they do do a sequel to Age Of Calamity it could be split across two timelines with the aftermath of Age Of Calamity with sky islands and the modern characters and back in time with zelda, characters from totk and new characters for the game, that way it’s a sequel to Age of Calamity but also like how Age of Calamity was a prequel to TOTK
There's a glitch in TOTK that lets you fight an army of Yiga Blademasters. Honestly I'd rather see a horde mode DLC get added to TOTK rather than get another Warriors spinoff. Like maybe after each blood moon, the enemy spawn count increases significantly in size for 10 minutes or until the night concludes and if Link is not in a safe zone, he has to fight his way through an army of monsters to survive.
the devs said they will not be doing dlc... hopefully that means the new game is revealed soon/hyrule warriors soon though
@@lluucasiscool I'm not sure if that statement is 100% true. Maybe not at the moment but I'll bet TOTK will probably get some DLC after the next Switch console drops. There's no way Nintendo won't capitalize on 20+ million sales.

I think since after rauru seals ganondorf away in Zelda tears of the kingdom hyrule castle is built to keep him sealed away so maybe we’ll have to build hyrule castle in hyrule warriors the imprisoning war if rauru seals ganondorf away in hyrule warriors the imprisoning war
There should be a set of stones known as the Phantom Stones and once they are used in a stage, they will dissolve and reappear somewhere else in Hyrule. The lore behind this is that the main Sages can use their power to create a single use Secret Stone, called a Phantom Stone since it is a shade of the original Stone, which can then be gifted to other warriors. I’m thinking the holders of Phantom Stones could be called Paladins instead of Sages and there could be a wider variety of Paladin types rather than just Wind, Water, Fire, Lightning, Time,Light,and Spirit. Also I would love if link got a Secret Stone for some reason or another and a Sage of Shadow who isn’t evil and is kinda like a shadow link but is also a completely different person. As y’all can see I put a lot of thought into the Phantom Stone mechanic and I think Phantom Paladins is a really cool name for a sorta less powerful Sage.
I think it would be cool to have the story play out the same as totk did so it could possibly be canonical. I mean if they could kill the main char of FFVII CC to make it canonical, they could do the same for Raru

Yeah, that’s why I think this game should be a what if scenario where Link manages to catch Zelda and is transported to the past with her.
Tbh I seen it more as a temporary alliance because I feel like the yiga realised that the calamity was not exactly what they thought it was so they joined Zelda after being betrayed because they know it’s the only way to survive.
@@theironking0075 The idea of a "temporary alliance" is ridiculous as by that point the Yiga have no reason to hate the Royal Family or Hyrule after been forgiven by Zelda and realizing Ganondorf ain't no ally of them. For them to suddenly become enemies again after their experience in Age of Calamity would only make them far more incompetent characters than ever before by taking away any serious threat they could ever have posed after presenting themselves as enemies in both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
They said that this is that last game for this hyrule but, they need to keep us entertained for the 5-6 yrs it’ll take to make the next game 👀

I think the story should be where Terrako ends up in the future instead of the past. The story starts off just before Link and Zelda head under Hyrule Castle to investigate the Gloom, and he prevents the complete destruction of Link’s arm through the Master Sword still ends up broken. Anyways, when Link dives after Zelda, he actually manages to catch her this time, and they, plus Terrako, are flung into the distant past.
They have that adventure, but Ganondorf still ends up sealed.
Eventually, there’s the scene where they find the broken Master Sword which was sent back in time. Knowing what she must do, uses her recall powers to empower Terrako to create a wormhole through time strong enough to transport him and Link to the distant future while she stays behind to heal the Master Sword. Knowing what she might do, Link tries to drag her with him into the future, but she shoves him and Terrako through the portal, and they end up in the depths where they find the Master Sword, which Link begrudgingly sends to the past.
The rest of the story occurs in the present, when Link gathers his current friends to become the new sages, find the Light Dragon and the Master Sword, and stop Ganondorf.
I just don’t think with the ending of AoC lends itself to a direct sequel since Hyrule is still standing and Ganondorf remained sealed for another century anyways.
Why bother with _just_ sending Link and Zelda to the past with such a god-like plot device character like Terrako able of sending _anyone_ as seen in the fanfiction "plot twist scene" from Age of Calamity?
There's no reason why Terrako couldn't simply bring anyone from either past or present across time given what he's shown doing in AoC's story hence why such a story concept as a Hyrule Warriors game set during the Imprisoning War could easily involve every single character involved in the Era of the Wild.

To answer, I already stated my problems with having 12 characters with basically the same move sets, which was already a problem in Age of Calamity while balancing out their stories, which Nintendo could be better at. As for Terrako, I could go on and on about why this thing needs limitations, and we do not need another cop-out ending. The Champions really wouldn't have much to do with the story anyway.

To counter, i already stated a game which hinges on mere fanfiction and spectacle rather than a coherent narrative which sticks to Lore is completely inconsistent with the limited framework established in The Legend of Zelda courtesy of it's single player-driven storytelling and so it makes no _logical sense_ whatsoever to introduce any such spectacle fanfiction-driven narrative to a franchise that will never justify such nonsensical storytelling in its limited single player experience. As for Terrako, i could go on and on about why this unoroginal _thing_ straight out of Star Wars is a mere *plot device* created to justify the fanfiction powered shenanigans which plague your average Hyrule Warriors game, and we do not need another cringy story. The characters wouldn't make sense whoever they were with the story anyway.

“The Sheikah discovered the Zonai’s remnants and attempted to recreate their technology. The reason they were made to de-industrialize is because this was taboo knowledge and the Hylian King of the time found out that the Sheikah knew the truth.”

How 'bout Link as the main protag, the default fighter, and the one ta finish the story by stoppin' Ganon the Demon Dragon? Champ's Leather, Tunic o' Mem'ries (identical to the tunic on BotW), Hero o' the Wild set, Hero o' the Sky set, Hero of Time set, Hero o' Twilight set, Hero o' Winds set, the Hero set (the green outfit in the series debut from 1986), Fierce Deity set, Ancient Hero's Aspect (w/ the lion-themed tail). Plus, we'll need a Chosen Hero set as a reference to the guy named Link from before the Sky Era. A Green Cap o' the Chosen Hero, a Green Tunic + Red Cape o' the Chosen Hero (w/ gold-inlaid pauldrons on his shoulders), and a pair o' Trousers o' the Chosen Hero. 'Cuz yeah. Master Sword bein' 100% restored as a pristine sword again (so it's much more immune to corrosion), becomin' as unbreakable as the legendary Durendal sword. Maybe Excalibur as the French name to the Master Sword. Maybe Trisagion as a Greek name. The Master Sword bein' blessed as a sacred sword could give the devs an idea on usin' a sacred name like Trisagion (Greek name involvin' three times the holiness).

Honestly don’t add tericho, make zelda the start of the whole story. The zonai warrior would be perfect as the link substitute. I know the point of the warriors game is having fun combining characters from all over, but I think it would be cooler if it was a whole unique cast all based in the flashbacks

I’m going to be honest I don’t see how it could be a direct sequel to AoC. Everyone’s alive, Hyrule is still standing, and the Calamity was sealed away which means Ganondorf has remained sealed for another 10000 years by the game’s own lore.
Frankly, if they did something like this it would have to be another timeline. Maybe one where instead of an alternate past, Terrako’s flung into an alternate future where Link does catch Zelda.
