What about getting straight up revelation from the Holy Spirit on each of these topics. I would not just assume anything was "legal" even if my favorite preacher Kirby says its fine.
I have listened to you Kirby for about a year but on this subject I cannot agree with this. It's not just intimacy they are missing they are missing the Holy Spirit!
Can the Spirit of the Most High be separate from any single fiber of anything that exists, seen or unseen?
I would suggest that any concept of separation is only a frame of reference for the eyes of the heart to see a pathway to more intimate understanding
The spirit of Christ in your heart, the spirit fills the heart then the body then flows out of us, out of our bellies, so the whole temple. The spirit is upon all flesh so all men can hear God calling him. We then receive him and walk from union in constant fellowship. we definitely need intimacy but from a place from One SPIRIT union.
After listening to this full podcast episode I learned that Kirby believes the gospel means to "go to Jesus to pay your debts" it's a business transaction according to him. He also says that Jesus' blood washes our conscience's and only then can we know right from wrong. Sadly, there are a lot of good people out there who know right from wrong but are not saved because they do not believe the true gospel which comes from 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 - Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you-unless you believed in vain.
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures

Practicing yoga, meditation (which biblically entails meditating on God's law and scripture, His good works, etc.) Kundalini, pranayama and brahma are not of God. These are evil spirits. I don't even know what "man's spirit" unless you are referring to your spirit as in body, soul and "spirit". Why would you meditate on your own spirit? Check out Steven Bancarz videos and his book: "The Second Coming of the New Age"

@@TruthSeekah the most narrow gate is the eye of the needle. A camel would crawl on it's belly to get through the narrow gate. All the baggage would need to be removed. The most narrow gate may be fearless love that precedes and exceeds all philosophical and religious language.
Kundalini let me away from God and into summoning demons and false gods. It works with the spirit of divination. I was lost into New Age for 10 years until Jesus appeared to me.

I like Kirby, but he is making a mistake that can have terrible consequences. It is true in principle that those who meditate activate the abilities of their spirit. But it does not mention the important reason why JESUS gave the holy ghost and made us born again. man's spirit have infinite power potential, so why would Jesus provides THE POWER of the holy spirit. why another power from the holy spirit. he could have just tought us to move into heavenly realm with our own spirit. answering that will help you understand why a non regenerated spirit cannot move in the realm of the spirit without being in contact with demonic power. But now, as christian we can, our spirit had to be born again, so when we meditate, we move in the spirit dimension "IN CHRIST". We move in the spirit through the word of God which is light. DON'T OPEN YOUR SPIRIT IN DEEP MEDITATION IF YOU ARE NOT BORN AGAIN AND EVEN IF YOU ARE BORN AGAIN, YOU WILL NOT ACCESS DEEP PLACES IN MEDITATION IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE WORD OF GOD RICHLY IN YOU. What can exist outside of the Spirit of the Most High? What can have any substance outside of the Most High's presence? What can exist outside of the Most High's immediate, first-hand experience?
We can ask for the eye salve to see beyond fear of the unknown, and we don't have to agree with the voice of the accuser that labels things with knowledge of evil. You will not receive a stone if you ask for bread. Magnify the Most High
Meditation in new age is emptying your mind. Meditation with Jesus is meditating on God's work, filling yourself up. Not emptying yourself. What happens when you empty the house people? Who moves in?
"Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry. I am speaking as to sensible people; you judge what I am saying.
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all share from the one bread.

The physical and the spiritual are inseperable. They are inextricably united. If by the communion of the wine and the bread is participation in the blood and body of Christ, ask yourself with who or with what am I participating in when I do Yoga? Because Yoga is a spiritual practice.
Many people think Yoga is exercise and can be done innocently, but if you read the Vedas and research Yoga itself, you will see that it is a spiritual practice. Ask any true Hindu and they will tell you it is spiritual. The word Yoga means "to yoke" or "to unite" which is it's created purpose. To unite with the gods it speaks of in the Vedas.
The very books on Yoga give in great detail the doctrines and names of demons, how to "be yoked" with those demons through Yoga, and the poses themselves which honor those demons.
I would encourage every believer to not take anyone's word on these other spiritual practices, but to do the work and research them for yourselves, research their origins and purposes and then ask the Lord, is this something you are okay with me participating in? I believe the answer will be pretty clear.

“I like to go sit with this Qi master and talk to him about it. Why can’t we have a philosophical discussion?” While I agree with Mr. Kirby about talking with others of differing beliefs, I disagree with his statement, of which he said, “I go and cross-reference my notes with them.” This is in reference to his Buddhist friends. We as Christians should never want to cross-reference our notes with any other philosophy or religion. Buddhism is another religion/philosophy. Therefore, we should never want to copy anything they do, even if it is meditation.
Let us examine Scripture. When Mr. Kirby says, “If you want to learn meditation, you go to a guy who meditates,” he is in reference again to his friends, and a previous analogy he presented. However, Scripture says quite the opposite, saying, “This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic.” (James 3:15) This wisdom, which he hopes to learn, is not heavenly, nor will it bring Mr. Kirby closer to the Lord: it is demonic. The Lord also says in His Word, “You shall not worship the LORD your God in that way.” (Deuteronomy 12:4) There is nothing wrong with meditation; it is Biblical and correct. (Psalm 119:97) But it is when we take the way of the world, and apply such methods to our personal relationship with Christ, issues arise. For it also says, “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. (1 Cor. 10:21) We cannot worship - or meditate - the way of which the Buddhists do, as it is of demonic origins.
A warning: “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons…” (1 Tim. 41) Now, I am not saying all that Mr. Kirby teaches is wrong. But, if he takes from the way his Buddhist friends meditate, and applies them to his walk with God, then issues arise. For it also says, “Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough?” (1 Cor. 5:6) This little bit of leaven, could potentially leaven the entire lump of dough, or his doctrine, thus making it false. I write all this, not because I want to hate, but because I love the brethren. (1 Tim. 4:6)
May the Lord open and enlighten the eyes of your heart to see the Truth of His Word. Amen.
Brother, I would disagree. I don't believe anything in itself is demonic. It is the fruit of such practice, I believe would make it demonic. These things are but tools, and no tool is demonic. A hammer can build a house for one person, but to another it becomes a murder weapon, thus making it demonic. The Bible is full of supernatural abilities and occurrences, but it doesn't teach them. The spirit of the prophet is subject unto the prophet. A pastor cannot teach you how to prophesy or live as a prophet. You will need to seek out a man on that path.
If you don’t believe anything is demonic but only the fruit, why would Jesus in James and other scripture call things demonic? Remember the fruit looked good to Eve on the tree, but it wasn’t good at all. Fruit sometimes looks good to the eye but then you find a worm buried within. We must discern. He says My Word sanctifies in John 17:17 not kundalini or these other practices. If God wanted us to truly understand all these practices, the right way and if it made us more intimate with Him why didn’t His personal disciples talk about it with detail so we can all know without question? And why did he say to come out of the way the other nations practiced things, but you say it’s ok? Thanks for feedback have a great day.

Im not sure what you mean by awakening? I think true awakening is being able to see God in everything. There are levels to it for sure and just because someone claims to be a christian or in relationship with Jesus doesnt mean theyre awake.

Yes, because The Holy Spirit, is the Spirit of Christ, that Holy Spirit comes from without of your body to dwell within when you allow Jesus Christ access’s into your heart, by accepting Him as Lord of your life.
The Holy Spirit is distinctly different from our spirits. It’s directly linked to and in Union with the person of Jesus Christ.
It wants to enter your body and enter into a mystical union with you, as long as you follow the prerequisites to consimate that Spiritual marriage with Christ.
