Nas came on to the scene as a fearless and talented young student of the game in the early 90s with the obvious influence and lessons from the rap legends of the 80s.
He held his own from day 1 with the ladies digging him and the fellas rockin with him, contributing heavily as a key reason why the 90s was the best era ever in rap with close ties to fellow key figures like AZ, Mobb Deep, and Wu Tang. Nas was a key figure in the notorious East v West, capturing the attention of Tupac, which was an indirect show of respect.
