This song is a perfect description, I think, of how it feels to love someone when you suffer from severe depression and anxiety. You love them and want to be with them so much, but you don't want your sickness to effect them. You feel like a failure and that all you are is sadness and suffering, and how could anyone want to be with you? So, you tell the person you love to stay away, because you don't want to hurt them, even though you need them there more than ever.
Yeah, that's me. I've lost so many friends, and I've distanced myself from the rest because I get it. I'm fucked up. I wouldn't stay with me either. I'd rather the people I love abandon me and be happy than with me and miserable. Because that's all that happens when they're with me. Recently diagnosed with bipolar (my sickness) and have made my wife's (my angel and I haunt her heart) life so hard at times (I turn into the devils son). I often wonder why she doesn't turn and run to save herself from "a life full of lies and a heart full of pain and sorrow". I hate being this way and there is no one else I love but I don't know when and why I am being this way. I can relate to this song on so many levels and when I am in moments of clarity it makes me so sad that I can treat my wife this way. I wanted to share this intimate detail about my life to help bring mental health and the struggles that we go through, it truly is a sickness just like any other and, unfortunately there is not enough attention being given to these people with this problem from a medical standpoint.
Just remember to take your meds. If you don't take them you can't be sure when you'll go off. If you do take them, you'll be sleepy all the time but at least partially lucid and without any episodes. The only other possibility is to look for a diet built around healing and avoiding all commercially processed foods. But you're right. It might still happen. But that doesn't mean you are worthless or that she should find someone else. The best way to handle it is to plan for when it happens so she'll know exactly what to do and how to deal with it. That will help shorten the episode and get you back to normal as fast as possible. You can do what you need to do to help with this. Do your own research because your doctor won't. The good thing is that we have the internet now and people that find out ways to deal with these things will post videos or blogs about it to help others deal with the pain of this condition.

+Billy Ashlock the truth about the ppl with supposedly "perfect" lives is actually that their lives are usually far worse than ours but they dont want to lose that image of their lives being "perfect" and that there's nothing wrong so they hide everything behind either that "perfect" mask they wear, or they try and keep as much about their lives hidden as they can so others wont see their pain and misery... oftentimes even THEY dont even see it anymore after a while and they start ACTUALLY believing their own illusion.
The first time i heard this song i was pretty devastated from another betrayal and broken promises from my ex. In hindsight i think she was glad in hindsight i did leave her because she wasnt all ready to love me how i need and deserve. +Billy Ashlock the truth about the ppl with supposedly "perfect" lives is actually that their lives are usually far worse than ours but they dont want to lose that image of their lives being "perfect" and that there's nothing wrong so they hide everything behind either that "perfect" mask they wear, or they try and keep as much about their lives hidden as they can so others wont see their pain and misery... oftentimes even THEY dont even see it anymore after a while and they start ACTUALLY believing their own illusion.

The first time i heard this song i was pretty devastated from another betrayal and broken promises from my ex. In hindsight i think she was glad in hindsight i did leave her because she wasnt all ready to love me how i need and deserve. The lyric your the perfect drug for me says stay to who you are and i will come for you as soon as i get my life straight. So saving yourself means never changing who i am or compromise my own values and morals
their songs always take me to a different time.
No matter what I tried, I couldn't fix what went wrong between us. Maybe it's for the best

Problem here is I just found this band and was song surfing and now I listened to still worth fighting for. Although in a way it's more of a solution than a problem. I mean if I don't at least give it my all to put it back together, then how much did this really mean to me?

@@tortis6342 Well, I know this one ship where one of them is going to die (Shinjiro Aragaki) and the other wants to become in a relationship with him (Minako Arisato/FeMC) but because Shinjiro is going to die, they know that Minako will be hurt by their death and tries to push them away. He still have feelings for them but of course he doesn't want to cause her pain. Btw there is no one set ship name for this couple, there is multiple names for the ship.
But I'm getting really off-track, but I don't mind the message all that much since this song kinda reminds me of these two.
