    For the last question. What protocol is associated with TCP Port 110. The answer is POP3. How did you know that? I couldn’t find Port 110 anywhere. Thank you for your excellent teaching. I’m sure the answer is right in front of me . I just don’t see it yet.

      Please make sure that you added the needed protocols in the simulation mode. It will show in Visible Events if you added.

    my flags have 8 positions in tcp not 6...

    • @michaelferguson5167
      @michaelferguson5167 Před 6 měsíci

      my flags had 8 positions as well. I'm assuming you would still go from left to right

    • @michaelferguson5167
      @michaelferguson5167 Před 6 měsíci

      Ok I have clarified the 6 versus 8 flag places. You will still only use the first 6 places reading from left to right according the table provided. The last two places are used with other protocols which do not apply for this exercise.

    • @gatisjurisons3962
      @gatisjurisons3962 Před 6 měsíci

      @@michaelferguson5167 so what flags they are?

    • @michaelferguson5167
      @michaelferguson5167 Před 6 měsíci

      @@gatisjurisons3962 that would depend on the six digits you have. Mine were different from this video as I assume it was different for others as well. You start with the 6 digits right after the b. For every place that has a 1 then that is your flags on your table in the instructions. So if your first digit out of the six is a 1 then the first flag is URG etc.
