Nice! Y'all are about 5 minutes from my house. lol Gonna have to get a trap or two out there. Just brought in my pb mangrove yesterday out near Cole pier. 22" and 6.25 lbs. Haven't had snapper in a while, but after watching this vid, I'm hungry for crabs instead! I toss my fish carcasses and shells into the deep freezer and toss them on trash day to keep the smell down.
That’s awesome we do the same put all the carcasses in the freezer for trapping later or to just throw away in trash day, Actually headed offshore tomorrow to find some snappers. Maybe we will see you out there on the water some time.
after going on google maps looking at all the bay lines, i stumbled upon this location and im pissed after all these years ive never bothered going there lmao. will definetily bring my yak there, looks like a good place to fly fish as well. but also crabbing! usually i just run a shoreline at night with a flash light, and there will be crabs in the grass i just net em up, but been wanting to do it in the daytime on my way out of corpus if i am ever skunked on fish.

Definitely a cool little spot! I need to try netting crabs at night with a flash light the kids would probably love that!
Where did you launch from? I was thinking Labonte but it doesn't look right.
