- Sheryl Crow sexy cover of Led Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll" 2002 - Stereo. Even if you don't think her voice is up to the job, her band is excellent and she sure is nice to look at!
A "cover" is not a duplication. It's different artist's take on the song. Between Peter Stroud on guitar, and Sheryl wiggling her butt from the top of a piano, I think it's pretty enjoyable cover... but NOT a duplicate of the original.

I love Led Zeppelin, they're probably my favorite band and have been my whole life. Musicians aren't signed to a genre, they can do whatever. Just because she doesn't normally play rock 'n' roll doesn't mean that she can't. This sounds pretty alright to me. Nothing can beat Zeppelin. I admit, I about shit when I saw the title of this video. But once I listened to it, it actually sounds pretty good. Get your heads out of your asses. I doubt Jimmy Page slit his wrists over this.
Nah....plenty of people from Van Halen to the Black Crowes to so many others have covered this song. It's a tribute to how mighty Zeppelin was..and still is. The best band that ever took the stage. And anytime I can hear their music is fine with me.
I did miss no keyboards, but in all I liked it! The biggest Zep fan for over 35+ years! A womens voice is generally needed to cover Plant. I haven't heard another guy come even close.
