I beg to differ with Surya. He talks about asset creation but all the assets are costly and expensive to use. Example is toll charges. We pay 20%road tax while registering and huge tax while purchasing fuel. The tax includes road development too... Where benefit is the tax payer or the public is getting??? Assets are created from public money and still public is made to shell out extra money to reap benefit???
That's how they extract money to give freebies. They increase the taxes on fuel, and other basic needs to keep their promises of freebies.
