The throwing knife is actually sick, they always say "never bring a knife into a gun fight" but if this one day becomes ground loot ( if it gets nerfed ofc) you will see like 100 clips of 360 headshots with this thing every single day
guessing it will be a new form of ordnance, so you would probably only get 1 or 2 at a time. they might not even need to nerf the damage
Maybe they could do something where they make it a grenade type thing, half it’s damage but make it stick into enemy’s or the ground, no one can grab it but you. Idk, just something so you don’t have to give up a gun slot for it because it would be more of a novelty weapon rather than an actual choice
It's so hard to hit
just make it a care package weapon with like 20 uses
that sounds like the arc star without the arc
This is finally such a refreshing game mode with its own good spin compared to generic gun games. Still frustrating that the devs don't experiment more like this anymore but its great to see the game mechanics used is a way that makes the game feel new again.
Now we need it permanent, with custom maps, and maybe with a solo mode. But anyways, that's a great mode already :)
What's the twist compared to generic gun games?
I feel like it should be 3 squads, and a smaller map.

I swear to god, i got a bit tired of the game... But since Apex got gun run i just wanted to play the game again. They did a great job at making this gamemode and in my opinion it revived the game for me
The fact that one of the maps is fragment east is the only reason imma play this mode 😂

It would actually be insane if each legend was able to throw their heirloom like throwing knife for the same damage, in gun run only lol

there should be a character with a throwing knife passive, ranged melees or something, just make it do less damage and have a bigger hitbox, would be huge early game and interesting seeing the trick shots etc

I used to play apex but can’t anymore due to my laptop breaking. But this seems like the game has changed for the better.
If my game was this smooth I would have destroyed squads.

@@TotherKoala exactly the devs dont realize that by putting in game modes they can keep player base up by giving options on how to have fun or what kind of experience the players want
The problem with this mode is there is no way you will kill someone,switch weapons and skill someone right after that because the animation of the weapons switching stops you from shooting
That's why cover is so much more important in this mode
@@royaltinman2226 I agree,besides,alot of times you find yourself in situations where you have to drop down from a building or go up ONTO a building to escape from a fight to reload or heal up but the map is pretty small you can barely rotate without enemies

Got my first win, which was also with with the knife. Had to deal with so much bullshit to get the final kill.

I have never had a gun run game like his mine are ALWAYS your fighting one guy and get killed be the guy behind before you can kill the first.

Passive booster pack, you have a one use booster pack what allows a singular slightly weaker double jump, and you are able to wall run to the amount of energy left like valks passive. Jump pack could use a quarter of it while wall running is a slow loss of energy,
Data knife: you can throw the knife and it will let out 3 small area burst each growing bigger with a 4 second delay, if you hit a player with the knife it will do the same with only that players team with infinite range.
Overdrive: you are boosted to have the power of a titan, your fire rate is doubled, you have low recoil, around 1.5 speed, and you have 50% defence. For 15 seconds, it can be like blood hounds where it recharges after getting kills.

Love the idea but personally think it could be greatly improved by being solo and optional optics

Here is an idea, after each kill heal 40 hp, if full it heals shield instead, over 3 second, this doesn't stack but refreshes the duration with each kill, assists heal 20.

Gun run is NOT fun for noobs. You just get stomped by a 3 stack. It is miserable to be stuck with a Mozam and just get one kill while the other people have 15
