I know this is an old video but in the first duel, the warrior lost because he let the sunder stack run out, and he didn't hamstring so he got kited a lot. He prioritized WW instead of MS and utility sunder and hamstring That warrior could have won. Close fight. Great video to learn from as a warrior.
It feels like all these other classes have to pull out so many tricks and CDs, resist gear, helms, pots to win against shadow. We don't get many CDs until later expacs
he drinks a rage post so that he can Sunder without attacking, sunder deals no damage so it wont break rockethelm either way. That is why you see him faced sideways while spamming sunder. Melee attacks a 60degree frontal cone while specials have a 90 degree frontal cone
Problem is that shadow scales poorly as classic goes on- by time warr has AQ40/Naxx 2h and HP, their damage output is too high and your shadow damage isn't killing them fast enough. Also, GG if they get a pummel off even if you try baiting. Recklessness is also an i-win button vs shadowpriest.
no rage gain from hitting shield and -15% phys dmg is just too hard to play around overall you need a toolbox of specific shit to counter spriest or use reck + deathwish to blast thru shield quickly really wondering why these warrs all went arms instead of fury, it's so much better in this matchup since vamp touch heal is kinda negligible and priest won't get a single heal cast off if you don't fuck up.
with gear? warrior misplayed a few times when he could have interrupted and executed. that wasn't even a MOM warrior. People don't seem to understand that melee damage scales approx 20-25% damage in phase 6 while casters only scale around 12%. The patch level is a significant boost to melee damage and significant weakening to casters.
Recklessness is a very long cooldown and even with that it's still very one sided for the priest. For the same reason some engineering tools are allowed in this match up, but it's still one sided for the priest. Warrior vs spriest without any tools is 0% chance to win for the war.

I guess that diamond flask + healing stuff is forbiden ? because that's the only decent option you have against a SP as a war
