THANK YOU for shredding block cheese! As a retired chef it annoys me when people use pre-shredded, bagged cheese to melt. One thing I do though is use the smallest grate size to get an even better, evenly melted cheese result. We used to make something like this when I was a cook in the Navy, using up left over minute steak and day old rolls from the ship's bake shop. A great mid-rats snack while others had brown bagged lunches. It's good to be the cook 😀

I am a fan of the block cheese. The bag never melts right. I haven't had any issues with the grate size I use. Usually melts well. In the end, this is just a good meal. Have a great weekend!
