  • In this video, Nick Pahr takes a deep dive into building a bowling ball arsenal. While every bowler may have different bowling balls that fit them best, there are some basic concepts that are incredibly important to building an arsenal and will apply to everyone.

As a bowler who uses Motiv balls, I am glad to see Motiv put out a video like this. I have seen other videos like this, but none of them were exclusive to Motiv. Thanks for the info.

This was a perfect video for me as I expand my collection and try to hone my skills again. Love the explanation of each ball and demonstration.

As a two handed lefty with matched revs and speed, my EXJ is amazing when urethane is not in play

I am a low rev rate high ball speed but I do use my elbow and my wrist with the yoyo movement and going around it hitting the ball at the bottom of every shot . Right now I have the tank rampage urethane with high flare layout but I have 1500/3000 grit trucut and it gave it a semi shine and absolutely love it , then I have the blue tank and a purple pearl hammer urethane with same layout as each other , then my skid flip motion is the dv8 brutal nightmare, a overseas magenta urethane hammer, and a old rhino urethane. But I am looking at getting my venom panic out and getting another tank ball or a new jackal

I really enjoyed this video. Hearing why you throw and chose these particular balls was interesting. Kinda cool to see what peoples go to balls are for certain situations. For my benchmark I like the original Pride and now I have just got the Black Venom and I hope it will be my new benchmark. Thanks Nick

I have the ExJ Venom as my Benchmark ball. I get the Asym choices. Struggling for the next ball. I really like the Primal Shock. It longer in the chart and more angular. Would that be a good next choice for transition?

it will definitely give you a bit more length but it is still pretty strong. A great ball down from the Venom EXJ would honestly be the Venom Shock. Those are amazing 1-2 punches.

Good video. I want a lengthy one explaining the different line of each ball he choose based on his style. I prefer only one line to stay at, instead of having to change line completely when changing ball.
Or may be choice of ball after throwing one game and onto the next game after the transition.

Absolutely! We had to change lines because we weren't really breaking down the pattern like what would have happened at a tournament or league night. So it is a bit tougher to showcase the transition.

So if I have Pride Venom Shock what other 4 balls would u put with them? Thinking about the Evoke

Why not throw thrill pearl like tank urethane. U know it’s weak.😊 okay showing us the length of each one, thrower the tank different
