Gold is often “shiny”. Don’t discount what you’ve found. Most of the gold I own is shiny…. Also, screw back earrings are often gold.

Those chopsticks are worth between $10 and $50 a set, because the wood is embedded with abalone shell slices to give it that pearly look. My 1st daughter has a set just like that are made with redwood, and abalone shell slices. They costed $30 brand new as wedding gift chopsticks. Her husband's were black ones like you have, and they were $50 brand new as wedding gift as well. I hate to burst your bubble Dude, but that’s not jade. Jade is more semi translucent and it’s the wrong shade. And the opals look like lab created. I’ve been cutting opals for more than 30 years, they’re still worth a little money.
