- I feel like Star Wars Galaxies trailers from 2003/2004 don't look as good compare to today's graphics. So I took upon myself to remake the original star wars galaxies trailer, in HD, along with new footage.
I want to give everyone, who has help make this trailer, a giant thank you. Without your guy's help, I would not have able to make the video possible. Everyone from the 501st, BoS, and a few friends I thank you.

For those who might be coming by here for some nostalgia and would like to play this game again, I'd like to bring attention to our SWG server, Empire in Flames.
Our server is set roughly a year after ROTJ, where they are trying to combine the best elements of Pre-Cu, CU and NGE and with many, many new features too, making it better than it was before. Including new player species, items, improvments on combat, balance, housing, professions (where professions are now seperated from "skills" aka you can be a master Bounty Hunter class and never touch a ranged weapon in the entire game if you desire), an all new Jedi unlock system unique to EIF, new and hand crafted planets from scratch, improved and meaningful PVP (which affects the galaxy via factional planet conquest, which affects the stats and resources of players), drivable combat walkers (such as AT-ATs), immersive content, new stories in the works, and more :) The server population has been rising rapidly, so check it out of it peaks interest!

I was one of the first Jedi on Chilastra server (jedi char was fighto) loved this game , loved the community, loved the interaction, loved the game and I really miss it.
I wasn't around when galaxies went live. Because I was way too young to play, and my parents were super restrictive when it came to playing games. I was only allow to play single player/offline games. They hated the idea of the internet, and hate even more that they had to pay monthly fee to play the game. So I never ended up playing it. I only really got into galaxies by the emulator servers around 2013. I been on at least 12 different emulator servers, including some nge servers, and each one of them had interesting takes. I personally prefer the emulator more since its what I was first introduced, and to unlock jedi, you have to earn it.
Both Basilisk(pre-cu) and Legends(nge) server has a decent amount of population right now. Around 1,000 on Basilisk while legends has 1,400 or so active players. Congrats on unlocking jedi during live though. I heard it gone under different methods of unlocking.
I'm Irish and I broke my leg badly playing a game called Hurling back then so I was out of work for about 10 months so I got a lot of grinding done lol. I unlocked my first holocron at profession no. 21 and the next at 24 and finally Jedi at profession no.27. I won't lie I miss people going "oh wow a Jedi" I miss the BH battles as well . It was my first MMO of any kind so I could never really take to another MMO and while I stayed with the game through the CU and NGE it wasn't the same. I had 6 accounts once and a girlfriend ...............lol.
On Chilastra I set up a town called Dark haven on lok and one of the biggest Imp Guilds called D_F_A( guild had a few names but sadly I can't rem) with a player called Saoirse so when that starting dying the game lost it's soul for me and when my jedi strongest talent was going blue after the NGE ..... I got a tad browned off.
I was in the swgEMU in a very early build as I was given access to a playerless server where I could spawn and do anything and I played a bit of game when it had a few hundred players but it was quiet and I'd love to come back and play with an organised group
Oh ya I still have the boxed collector's edition sitting on my shelf in mint condition .

Only thing the trailer is missing is space content, taking forever and a half before anyone will get to board a ship.
I know right? I wish we have space already. Its been years now and there still hasn't. Rumor has it, it would be available within a few more years given the track recorder, but don't quote me on it.
It may be much sooner, there have been recent JTL screen shots from the team, and I've heard from some devs I know that it's making quick progress. If you look on the status of the development list, almost all things are green, JTL was of the only two red status developments, and that list is over a year old now since the last update.

Imo too many jedi in the video. But otherwise good job.
Perhaps this was SOEs doing , as I haven't seen the original trailer.
The trailer I originally was trying to remake was the one where they had jedi appearing everywhere. I think it was a 2004 trailer before jump to lightspeed. Here is the old trailer czcams.com/video/Hrjqob8-420/video.html
