Beware, there is a new form of DKA called euglycemic DKA (normoglycemic DKA) which happens rarely if a T2D patient takes an SGLT2 inhibitor. This DKA is characterized by normoglycemia i.e. BG < 200 or 250 mg/dl
? Travis was diabetic 2 and on a new insulin pill ? He was also on a High Blood pressure medication. The day he passed his sugar level was normal.
