Funniest part of season 2 in my opinion, the robot is an independent being and will just expects him to do whatever he says. So seeing will get this surprise is funnt

I’m also extremely proud that in season three, Will becomes more independent because of the requirements of when the 97 children, including the Robinson’s, were stranded without their parents.

The show would have been better with better writing, none of this robot aliens stuff, and just going with the original premise that humans have finally sorted out some serious science stuff to finally be able to go to the stars. We do not need a disaster to cause us to explore. It is in our nature to explore. It would be a better show if done in such a manner. As for aliens. I have no issue with aliens in the plot lines of such a story, but first contact could have been between the colonist as they travel.
The disaster wasn't actually a real asteroid, but it was the first alien spaceship with a robot and engine onboard. They got the engine and then built the resolute.

I tried this show when it first came out but the female and murderous Dr. Smith character turned me off immediately.
The writers literally have no idea how anything works. Not even a kindergarten grasp of physics. Way too annoying to watch.
