      Thank you, @GRINwood. Great video. I just have one technical question. How camera's angle is controlled? Is it somehow centering itself by tripod ball head?

    • @GRINwood
      @GRINwood  Před 4 lety

      @@liveriesfsx9352 it's controlled with U-type profile on the bottom, just set up the profile. If it's parallel to rails camera will not turn, if diagonal - camera will follow the filming object, just set it up correct. Here i show how it works 12:50
      Thanks

  • @switchmuso

    Best I've seen yet... When you write "Sketch" I think you mean "Program" or probably "Project".... only thing I'd add is that the anti-parralax guide rail ( for pointing at subject through the full travel of the slider) would need to have a slot instead of a hole at each end to accommodate the different length depending on the angle. If you want a pipe that doesn't bend you can use thin-walled steel pipe, no guide bearings necessary, super light... wouldn't it look good made of sheet metal instead of wood... very good design, Bravo!

    built something close to this. Same reverse switches but never could get the switches to work. If I use my hand to hit the switch it works because I am hitting the switch like on and off as in a tap. But the slider just touch the switch and alway just set there with the switch pushed in..... the slider will not go the other way until the switch is released.... How can i come this ?????

    Делаю себе подобный слайдер, поворотную часть использовал не профиль а алюминиевую трубу.Заметил , что эти движки "дергаются" при работе .Это даже заметно по картинке.Nemo 17 в этом плане лучше мощные и работаю стабильно.Хотел обойтись без ардуино использовав готовую плату с аллиэкспресс, но при работе с Nemo 17 нет возможности регулировки скорости.Наверное придётся все-таки мудрить на основе ардуинки

    • @GRINwood
      @GRINwood  Před 3 lety

      Да, немного дергается из-за малой мощности движка, но если пустить каретку по склону, то все гладко.

    • @masterskaya7
      @masterskaya7 Před 3 lety

      @@GRINwood дергается больше всего что там стоит редуктор.Интересно если подключить nemo 17 по этой схеме? Драйвер выдержит?

    Буду наверно заказывать ардуинку как у тебя.

    • @TheMusicRecordingNetwork
      @TheMusicRecordingNetwork Před 2 lety

      Did you say inexpensive????
      They cheapest I've seen was about 300 and that was very short and no motor. Anything at this size plus a motor will run you 1 grand. So I am building me one ..... all part like under 150.... plus motor and a size you can't even get..... this video is amazing even after 50 watches.... lol

    I believe there is a mistake in the code
    This line:
    myStepper.step (direction);
    actually it should be:
    myStepper.step (direction * stepsPerRevolution);
    Or leaving it like this, you should change:
    if (flag == LOW)
    direction = 1;
    if (flag == HIGH)
    direction = -1;
    in
    if (flag == LOW)
    direction = stepsPerRevolution;
    if (flag == HIGH)
    direction = -1 * stepsPerRevolution;
