    My Takeaways:
    1. Read and understand
    2. Do not just copy into the notes from whatever resource you are following, instead understand each point and write it in your own words.
    3. It is easier for the brain to remember in terms of connections / relations, hence understand every concept with a purpose and a result.
    4. reread your notes from time to time just to refresh your self.
    5. When learning it's very common to find multiple resources for the same topic, do not follow all resources choose one decent resource and carry on.

The theory about information stored as a web just made me realise why mind maps made me learn things so much easier. I love remembering pieces of information by connecting them together because I remember the connection better than the information itself. It's quite useful. I also get stuck in the connect step. I never go as far as challenging my information often which is why I constantly forget the details. Also I need to start spaced repetition already, I need to keep up studying for atleast a few hours after classes everyday and explore the topics during weekends.

I think the reason I find it so hard to study is the fear of failure. I fear that if i actually try at something and I don't get the results I want, it will prove I'm an idiot.

Kinda feels like building a road system.
    1. Create and place the buildings
    2. Build the insections between buildings, (otherwise, pple get lost or traffic)
    3. Run it, so that the cars smooth out the roads, and create traffic patterns.

Very helpful video! Made my studying more efficient
May I ask if during the collecting phase can I not take notes? Then proceed to take notes during the Connect phase once I have figured out how to categorize and relate the topics and terms?

i have six subjects this semester. so much self-study to do. so much to remember. it's not that it's hard or something; just too much. each subject has at least 6-8 quizzes and 2-3 projects or presentations throughout the semester. i can't keep up with the speed. nothing works. i've made notes, filtered information, and connected everything. BUT STILL during quizzes, i always know the concepts, but i can't find the right words or exact scientific terms to define them. i tried the reverse study method as well where you review the chapter summary first, then side notes, and then each paragraph's first and last sentences. it didn't help. now my sleep cycle is messed up, and i'm always studying. my eyes hurt from excessive screen time, and i'm still not getting any grades. i'm a slow learner, and my focus span is extremely short. at this rate, i'll fail all my classes. i'm barely getting through my classes this semester. i'm open to any suggestions you may have for me to improve my situation
thanks for reading this. everything has been so stressful lately im desperate to get good grades. please help

Can you do a collab with Legal Eagle on studying in law school (or just a video specific to law school study)? I feel it's such a unique academic experience that it deserves its own video
