I love this song. I am a big Jessica Mitchell fan. Seen her live twice. Both great shows.
When you listen to well crafted lyrics, you can sometimes experience an empathy for the singer/songwriter. I have yet to find another song that evoked the kind of empathy that 'Workin' on Whiskey' has.
I guess until then, I'll be 'Worki'n on Whiskey'.

This is my most favorite song, I just heard it on the radio (89.1) in Welland, Ontario three days ago and I tried to call them to request it again. Such an amazing song, with an even more amazing voice behind it. I wish I found this song sooner ! Keep up the incredible work, this give me goose bumps everytime!

Thank you for this piece. My girlfriend had to go back home across the province today to Thunder Bay. We'd been together for four years and she was really struggling to find work. I never stopped loving or caring for her despite that, but things reached a head and she made the uncomfortable decision to move back a few weeks ago. She only hopes she'll be there for a year but we don't know yet. This song has been an anthem for myself these past few weeks and is helping me come to terms with what's happened. Thank you Jessica.
