I wish in his videos he would explain the reason why he's checking these fuses what is wrong with the transmission and what is it doing for him to check these fuses
I think hes just showing how to check them and where they are . He said “there are three fuses that can throw your auto trans”

Hi, brother I have a question, my car (ford fiesta titanium 2017), have a sound, and the mechanics told to me that sound is the TCM, but when I search in internet about this I don’t found anything about the sounds in tcm. i have a focus 2012 hatchback sel i have checked everu fuse every relay inside and out the car all are ok i have changed the starter motor but car still doesn't cranks don't start panel cluster is ok everything lights up someone told me that is the tcm that is shorted would that be the reason ?

I have a 2012 focus... I just replaced the engine a few weeks ago and it started and drove around the cul-de-sac. I finally was able to get a temp tag so I could real give it a test drive but now the car won't engage any gear... I check fuses and even did a trans. Control reset. Still won't go in any gear....

transmission shift actuator they are 50 bucks a peice. sounds like you need to replace actuator B.
also may need the computer reprogrammed
Hi can u please help I have a 2012 Ford focus hatchback sometimes the car feels like it don't want to go into gear but it's popping up transmission overheating I did let the car sit for a whole year and it never did that it's popping up transmission overheating can you tell me why it would do that and how can I fix it if I can fix it myself thank you
These gearboxes are very prone to issues especially between i believe 2012 and 2015 or might be 2014 but yeah a Ford with the powershift within these years are very problematic, i have a 2014 Ford Focus mk3 powershift and struggle to even get 25mpg around town and its had to have clutch pack change twice and the car hasn't even done 70k miles yet....the transmission control module and clutch packs are very common to go so if you buy a powershift then always get extended warranty as a new gearbox you're talking minimum £2,000. Not sure what Fords new 7 speed gearbox is like though.

My focus dies in the rain. The check engine light comes on and a message displays across the board saying "engine fault service now". But once the car dries out the check engine light goes away. Any ideas what might cause this?
Replace your alternator., See if your car is missing the splash shields that are supposed to block water from coming in. They are the plastic parts that sit right behind the front tires. Check if your alternator splash shield is missing. It's just a black plastic part on the alternator that prevents it from getting wet. If you do see the splash shields missing their just dollars at the junk yard and just require 2 10mm bolts to remove..easy peezy..then just wait till it rains and see.

I have a 2012 Ford focus SE that doesn't want to go into reverse because the negative ground wire corroded and the sensor and the plug that goes into the sensor could that be the issue for the car not to be shifting property
Engine mulfunction service light
I have a 2014 ford focus that the transmission was perfect until one day I was cleaning it out and the the factory battery went dead after 6 years replaced it then the car will not go into reverse and won't shift out of 1st gear if I drop it in low and get over 30mph and shift it back in drive and cruise at 60...I've checked the grounds even ran jumper wires between all the ground still nothing any ideas ?
Having similar issue but my problem started after I took it to a mechanic to fix a axle cause I ran up a curb must be something with swapping battery and not running something after or maybe a fuse? I'm confused with this as well, my car has stalled on me while driving and won't advance, today it started having problems with reverse gear now.

We have replaced the clutches in our 2014 Ford focus. Now that it's all back together, the car will not start at all and it does not register which gear it's in. It only shows an enlarged, grey "D."

My car is turning over but will not crank. When I try to put it in N, the lights in my car flicker on & off. As though if the battery died while I was changing gears.
Old post but you have a Bad battery, bad starter and possibly a bad alternator. Could be fuses or relays start there..also try jump starting it first. To know if it's your battery. If it turns on it's not your starter, its not fuses or relays If it doesn't turn off by itself. Next while it's still on..remove the black ground connection from the battery, disconnect it and if the car turns off bad alternator, if it stays on your alternator is working. Turn the lights on, ac on full blast and radio on turn on the lights inside the car if lights start flicking or radio turns off while battery is out. Replace alternator. Now plug the battery back in the test drive it.

My 2014 Foord Fiesta is giving a problem to start, have to start it in neutral at times for it to start when it driving it won't leave 1st gear and moving from gear one to two the car shake (slip up). if i try to accelerate too fast then the engine will rev and not more. once the car reaches 60kmp that i can drive normal. if i put the car in S-mode it will not let me manual change gears. also at times a warning message comes up and say "transmission hot wait 5 minutes" and "use brake stop safely"
Please advise me what is the problem and also if the "TCP" and "Clutch fork" need to change.

It was the TCM and Clutch fork was going bad, so I had to change both.
The car is now working perfectly.

P07A3 code 2012 focus "transmission element A stuck on" it slamming gears, over revving and missing 2nd and 4th gear. This is intermittent though..

@@mschmitt5792 I did! A small coolant hose above my TCM was leaking and causing an electrical issue with the connection.

How bout a 2018 ford focus
Yesterday, my Focus 2012 SE showed "Transmission Malfunction Service Now" I was in red light and no reverse or drive. After it was taken to my home by a Tow Truck I turned on and no error and I could move it..... The car belongs to my wife so I'm worry about it.

Ford has 150k extended warranty on the trans from 2012- 2014 2015 ford fucus. Check your local ford tell them yu need a new transmission and they will fix for free..

@@jdm-usdm5182is there a recall thats not showing up...cause I stated your comment and they asked where I heard that they would do the transmission for free. I don't know if its cause I'm a women but the stealership just wants to suck your wallet dry every time I go in about something...they are absolute snakes at Ford. So either I'm not saying something right or what when I asked this...I have a 2015 Ford Focus hatchback...so how can I find out this information to have proof...to look like I know what I'm talking about...I need your advice so I can get this dealt with, with them. I'm so fed up and frustrated with these people at the dealership
