Always getting a lot of requests to do this one. Definitely one of the harder songs I have done. Jimmy Chamberlin’s drumming can be challenging to replicate especially on this track . I didn’t use any damping on the snare to get that ring that he has on his snare in the studio recording. Please Like and Share the Video :))) Cheers , Colm

Sounds like you've got your fat head, which sounds great for the heavy rock songs.
If you are thinking of doing different kinds of covers it would be pretty sweet to see you change your tones to match the recording. I love Jimmy Chamberlins snare tone, he used a Free Floating Pearl snare on Gish. Those are cool because you can change out the shell and heads.

Dude, so jealous right now!! I've been working on this song for months. I transcribed it, learned it to the note and know it very well but can only play at 90% of it! Jimmy is amazing! The kick pattern on the verse is strange to get use to it and the intro of the solo, so fast, but I'm getting closer. The thing about this tune is it never gets old, neither for listening or playing it on the drums! Amazing job! Now go and do "Silver Fuck"! I dare you! I double dare you! :)

I’ve always regarded Geek USA as the litmus test for being a BAMF drummer and I’d say you nailed it! Jimmy can have some weird timings in his drumming so that was sick. Keep it up!
This was fantastic. I always wished I had learned to drum, and this song in particular always blows me away with Jimmy's superb ability not just to be technically brilliant, but really capture and enhance the energy of the track.
