Très belle reprise ! Les voix s’accordent bien, se mêlent, se complètent.
Sensible à la poésie de Maissiat, je découvre seulement maintenant Mina Tindle, que je vais suivre également.
Très pointilleux sur les mots, il me semble que l’originale est «Amour cruel, comme en duel » (et non « comme un duel »)… le « un » n’aurait qu’une valeur descriptive, tandis que le « en », de mon point de vue, plonge les amoureux dans l’action de la confrontation dos-à-dos. La même nuance se retrouve dans la différence exprimée entre « provoquer un duel » (factuel, descriptif) et « provoquer en duel » (mise en scène d’un drame).
Mais bon, j’ai conscience que 9 ans après cette mise en ligne ça paraît bien futile…

Sorry to contradict you, but this version is far from the emotion of the original. Gorgeous song (great music) by the way. The melody is kind of italian in a way. Could you post on youtube your original of Cinecitta TV générique? It is impossible to find. Congratulations for writing this gorgeous melody. I know Oliver Onions is a myth in Italy.. Ciao.
