@@vezrienI guess the idea is to magnify quake with cloud and aerith so it hits multiple enemies and have synergy cure on him so he can heal up tifa when you’ve wasted aerith and clouds atb’s. use tifa with synergy support purple materia so it builds her faster, mix her with darkside and enemy skill. unfettered fury her to max so u do more damage and cancel her uppercuts with a dive kick. aeroga for the 3rd and 4th round and realistically what i should have done is focus down one jester with aeroga from both cloud and aerith and then have tifa stagger kill it and then build atb to do the same on the other. the frog is pretty easy by himself and ironclad is too. u just have to stick behind him.
@@vezrienfirst 2 rounds you should relatively breeze thru with magnify quake. atb boost, first strike and genji equipment. also all my materia is maxed. i keep 6 of all elements. except petrify which u can only get 3 of, i think. and weapon level 8.
Thanks for this. Quaga made the difference. Got it first try after I watched this no lie. I used a different set up and kept Aerith using wind/lightning with magnify instead of quake. Also I used mp absorb but it was probably a waste since I was never close to running out
I feel like there's something I'm missing but I have Petrify materia maxed out and it won't let me use Quaga even though I have enough MP, same issue with all my other elemental materias.
For this strategy I think you also need chocoking cape on aerith. He starts with 2 full atb bars, uses 1 for arcane ward, uses atb boost to get 2 bars again then uses quaga.

@@friedshrimp934that one as u can see, it wasn’t as simple as just setting up at the beginning and just pummeling them with magic. You have to get rid of the jokers first in my opinion, so like focus down one, tifas divekick is hella powerful so just quake 1 with cloud and aerith and then tifa divekick it to hell. should be able to synergy attack the other and aeroga it and then the frog is easy when it’s by itself. also fire with elemental makes the bird easier. i didn’t really prepare for it, was using the same materia i use while questing in hard mode

Man, I really need to max that petrify materia. That seems to help in a lot of battles.

Use Yuffie mog’ substitution in atb ward of Aerith, spam fire or whatever = gg wp
yeah atb ward would’ve ran thru this whole challenge. used it alot in my hard mode playthru
