- The FBI says the man who tried to assassinate Donald Trump mounted a "sustained effort" to target a public gathering.
Thomas Crooks, 20, searched more than 60 times for information about the Republican presidential
candidate and his then-rival, Democratic President Joe Biden.
He then decided to register for a Trump rally in July.
The FBI said Crooks' computer activity showed he was interested in a mix of ideologies and there was no evidence he worked for a foreign power or with anyone else.

Can someone explain some commonsense to the situation, while being the most important person at an event for his benefit, numerous shots were fired supposedly at him, (WHY) would someone be concerned about A shoe not knowing if there are other shooters out there waiting for their turn, (WHAT) person in their right mind would delay getting off the stage (HE TOLD THE AGENTS TO HOLD UP) just for A photo op by pumping his fist and popping his head out where everyone can see it just to yell fight, fight. (ONLY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THAT IT'S ONLY ONE SHOOTER WOULD DO THAT)
Crooks was told to pew pew the teleprompter near rump, but unfortunately one of the projectiles struck an innocent bystander, so when things went opposite of their plans they took Crooks out thinking that would be the end of it.
To me the whole state of those events were staged, the rump team & Thomas Matthew Crooks were all together, until they weren't. (JUST MY THOUGHTS)
