  • Join me on this domestic flight from Trondheim to Oslo (Norway) with the Norwegian regional airline; Widerøe. The flight was delayed by over 1 hour, presumably due to a strike among aircraft mechanics (which ended the previous day), which in turn caused maintenance backlogs. Other than that, the flight was quite enjoyable. Seat 3A is right next to the propeller and offers some perfect views of it, and there were also some quite nice views out of the window as the sun was setting. I found Widerøe's inflight service to be slightly inconsistent however, as while the F/A did serve small chocolates on the outbound flight, that wasn't the case on this flight. Enjoy the video and be sure to comment, like and subscribe!

Dash 8-100, what a rare aircraft. It appears more special in such beautiful livery.

The DH1 is kinda rare indeed, at least in much of Europe! But still, Widerøe is the world's largest operator of the type, with 23 such aircraft in its fleet.
