Great video and thanks for sharing. I want to get this plane but I wonder how easy is it to transport this plane from a car to a flying field? Do you have to remove the wings or they stay on permanently?

Would the equipment become novice-friendly if you add the Landing Assistance Sensor (LAS) and SAFE-Plus (Virtual Fence, etc.)?

Cool! I want one but 600 is steep for point of entry when you have a budget!
Check out the Skynetic Bison. It is a tad more functional and budget friendly, but it isn't a Draco.

@@RCINFORMER you raise a very good point. It doesn't come as a BNF package to the best of my knowledge. The folks at MotionRC would be a better resource to ask. A Spektrum receiver can cost up to 150 if you want all the bells and whistles and the Bison PNP costs around 400. That being said, there are Spektrum receivers that would be just fine for around 40 dollars US. If budget alone is the question, it can be somewhat cheaper and fits the STOL caregory. It is not going to be a Draco and will have its own pros and cons. I love the Spektrum AR620 receivers and this combo would be closer to my budget. It doesn't reverse the throttle out of the box like the Draco. It doesn't have the history of the Draco. I would love to see a side by side comparison. I want both.... There is no bad option.

@RCInformer! I have got a question: while inserting the Carbon Shaft on which to mount the wings, how to know that it is accurately centred (to prevent CG problems)?

@@RCINFORMER I realise “rod” is an incorrect term. You call it “spar.” My apologies for using the wrong terminology.
At 58:10, you have just picked up a spar. At 58:11, you are about to insert it into the plane. That spar will hold the wing. My question (to reword it) is: the CG of the spar must be aligned with the CG of the plane. Otherwise, the plane will tilt (roll) towards the heavier side. Does the spar have a ridge/groove that snaps itself at the correct position?
@Thoughtomobile The CG can be in a slightly different location that the spar.

hopefully now that we know this plane is very fragile, e flite will make it better. all you see now are draco's for sale after people find out the poor quality.
