From countertop at how much hight did make the duct pipe hole? Because in most chimney dust pipe is visible from down sidr. But for your chimney it is very neat look as duct pipe is not visible. So can you please reply the hight of your duct hole from counter top
Hi sir, thanks for your valuable feedback. Firstly, it depends on the chimney's brand, various models have various sizes, shapes, etc. Best thing is to book an appointment with the company's representative before buying. Popular brands like Faber, sends their representatives before hand for measurement of duct hole, adjusting the height from the counter-top, size of the hole, etc. Those services are chargeable but, it will be adjusted during the installation time.
Cost for mine, it was charged Rs. 600/- (total, may vary). Measurements:- From counter top to the bottom of the duct hole [duct hole itself - approx. 6-inches (diameter)] = 4ft 3inch (51-inches)

Out-Door-Unit-'Cowl' Saath Mein Aata Hain Ji?
"Aluminium exhaust pipe" & "Cowl" (i.e. the exterior pipe cover - the PVC cowl that is mainly used to prevent wind from blowing the smoke back down into the kitchen) are not a part of this package. The agent who comes for the installation purpose will charge Rs. 600/- (installation charge) + Rs. 1,300/- per aluminum pipe i.e. expandable upto 8 feet. Basic screws required for hanging the chimney will be provided inside the package itself.

No, there are no major defects with the chimney till date - since I have been using it, to be honest. Yes, the fact is that it's parts are a bit costly, but overall the chimney is really good in the long run & service it provides. In terms, of cleaning I would suggest while the chimney is under warranty, one is not suppose to clean the chimney manually by themselves i.e. by completely opening it, external cleaning is needed & comes with the dry auto clean feature.
