Nice setup we have that exact same haybine and a Tedder about the same size and I was looking back on some of your vids and 540 rpms seems a little fast we run ours 450 rpms on our John Deere 6230 but nevertheless great set up always love square baling in the summer heat
Why do you run your mower so slow? 540 rpm is the speed it was designed for.
@@TheScientistHayFarmer idk that’s just what my grandpa taught me but we put the tractor in c 2 range
@@lukedesalvo6963 Can't do that with the new disk mowers..... You have to have a tractor capable of maintaining 540 rpm...... If you don't you will burn up the drive belt or burn out the slip clutch......With our variety of Hay (Coastal Bermuda).... We do not gain any time running a conditioner....Narrow leaves small stems......Plus The speed of cut is greater(more acres per hour) (126 in 7 hours with 3 320 EasyCut cart mounted disc mowers
