Man, with that business acumen I hope all these arm chair CEOs are starting their own ventures that provide budget products to consumers.

In 2025 I would love it if people stopped acting like they know more than the person in the video.
Like everyone is so quick to be like "BUT ACTUALLY!"

The lip balms are worth their prices! For how well they work and how amazing they make your lips feel, I gladly pay for them. I have gotten my family and friends in love with these lip balms. Every time I do another order, I'm asked to get some for them, too. The lip balms are not addicting and they actually moisturize your lips. Unlike other lip balms, once the lip balm is "gone" from your lips, your lips still feel amazing and you don't need to constantly put on more lip balm for your lips to feel and stay moisturized.

I think it’s fun to guess/ speculate for the sake of trying to understand margins/ profit/ costs in different industries; the problem is that our perspectives on what things should cost, the quality we should expect/ how long something should last or how well it should work, and what it costs/ should cost to ship a product have been so warped by massive companies with unethical business practices that most people don’t understand what it costs to pay for the ethically made, good quality products that they say they want, and things that are made ethically and well just cost a lot more now, because wages haven’t kept up and big companies are doing their best to milk every cent out of customers that they can. When a small business producing high quality products ethically prices their products fairly, it still seems unreasonable if you don’t think too hard. There is nothing wrong with you making a fair profit, plenty of big companies sell their lip balms for $24 USD, producing them at much lower cost, and no one bats an eye. And $25/hour isn’t a particularly good pay rate for them to be assigning to you as “fair” for you to earn.

    🤣
This is a small business so an the factors cost more per tube than a big brand and the big brands like Burt's Bees who are literally getting massive discounts on every single part of the product including the labor, are still selling for the same or slightly higher, at least in my part of Canada... Burt's bees could be paying like 25 cents each while you could be making 8.25... I'm just tossing numbers out with no real costs in mind other than Burt's bees and you are both about 9 dollars before tax... 😬
