      What did you use them for? I only walked on asphalt with them.

      @@ThomasPretsch same I only walked in them, not only on asphalt tho, sometimes on grass or gravel and dirt too. tho I would only wear them and nothing else, even tho I expected to wear off much later

      @@Omkuskom I think you should try to contact the company and tell them about your experience. Maybe you got a bad pair.

    Mine just arrived, Is It normal that I have a little of space in the heel area because they are wide or should I order one size less?

    • @ThomasPretsch
      @ThomasPretsch  Před rokem

      I don't think there should be space in the heel area. It is better that there is a little space in front of the toes. If any doubt i recommend asking Wildling. They have great support :)

    My problem is that I live in an area where the grass is often wet. I also walk mainly on trails and pastures. I was afraid these might not be able to handle where I am walking. However, they do look great. I love flexibility and these have it!

      You should try to contact the company. Aks about concern. I think they might have some impregnation to make them waterproof... I am not sure...

      @@ThomasPretsch Thanks. I noticed some of their models are actually meant to get wet. Those may be what I need.

      @@ThomasPretsch If you look at the Tanuki Yoro it is says this “This minimal shoe is water-permeable. Combined with the "Washi" insole, it can also be worn in water and dries in no time. Consequently, waterproofing is not necessary.”.

    Wow, the shoes look great after a year's use. How often do you wear them?
    I got myself a pair of Niji's recently, and the width is perfect. However, the shoes feel a little long - I can fit about a finger and a half in the back, I wonder if this is normal?

    • @ThomasPretsch
      @ThomasPretsch  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes. I don't misuse this pair. I never wear them in rain. So they are only for summer and good weather use. I never go off trail and mostly use them in the city.

    • @ThomasPretsch
      @ThomasPretsch  Před 2 lety +1

      About the Nijis sounds like you maybe have gotten one size to large?

    • @grilledwindow
      @grilledwindow Před 2 lety

      I tried them again, and they felt more comfortable this time around. I don't really notice the space when walking, maybe it's meant to be there so the shoe isn't too tight?

    • @ThomasPretsch
      @ThomasPretsch  Před 2 lety

      @@grilledwindow yes a little extra room like 0,5-1.2 cm is recommended for most barefoot shoes.
