Get yourself a Fumoto Valve, you won't regret it. Been using them since the late 1980s, not a single issue!

FYI: Torque setting NM for the plastic is as you stated, 25NM. Conversely, however, the oil pan torque factory setting is 39NM -- no less, no more.
Per the oil change interval you use, I do understand your situation and the fact that it's a Toyota engine, so I am fine with your logic, even though I would never use it, because simply, I want to keep my car in perfect condition -- either forever, or so someone can buy it from me in excellent condition. My 2015 corolla S has 36k on it now, and I have, since new, changed it every 2k, i.e., it goes in gold and comes out gold as well, and I run the engine at good revs, having tuned it and I do enjoy the car very much. Take care.

In case someone wants the torque settings for the transmission it is as follows: The 24mm fill plug requires 48.8 NM or 36 ft. lbs. The drain plug (metal) is torqued at 40.7 NM or 30 ft. lbs. The little overflow straw is a 6mm allen and should just be hand tightened just until you begin to feel it get a little snug, that's it -- be gentile on it and you're set. Hope this helps add to this nice video of his oil change, I know it would help me. Toyotas are easy to work on, but not the transmission oil fluid change, because Toyota doesn't really want you messing around with their CVTs, lol.

Nice video, I would use Kirkland 5w30 synthetic for the remainder of that car's life and put a Fumoto drain valve on that car.

I replaced the oil drain bolt with a Fumoto drain valve on my motorcycle to eliminate having to remove the skid plate (which is a pain). Great little device.

I have this exact same car and same year, have you had issues with timing chain tensioner leaking oil?

It’s very very small, more like a seep. not remotely worried about it but I’ll keep an eye on it.
