It’s actually sad to see so many people who have no respect for themselves. They truly think their only value is their bodies. Bodies don’t even last so how are they going to cope when they age. It’s actually really sad to see as an 18 year old black girl. I was fortunate enough to have a good father in the home and have more traditional values but it’s clear to see that women especially black women who don’t have a strong family structure do fall into this. Just know you are inherently valuable. Your value come from while you are and what you bring to the world and that’s more than your body. You can’t expect people to respect you if you don’t respect yourself and your body. Bro black families need to fit their family structures because i’m tired of being associated with this. Black communities during/directly after JIM CROW laws were doing MUCH better than we are now and that’s a fact. Even people alive during that time say that. Black people had both parents in the household, steady income although their was of course difficulty and were overall thriving. This stuff has gone wayy too far and it’s not only the women the men too but that’s another story.
