Just have the single transmitter for Action 4 and I find it is great with NR off but with it on it is too much but I do that stuff in DaVinci anyway. I was using Rode Go with USB connection and it worked but we handle the camera on shoots so the cable and receiver cause anxiety also it takes a bit to connect so the DJI 2 has solved several problems for me, So far testng works great but not enough use to judge for sure.
it does NOT record via Bluetooth on the Pocket 3, why are so few "reviewers" not able to understand the diffenence between Bluetooth and Wifi or wireless mics. The Mic CAN do Bluetooth like many demonstrate on the iPhone but that sounds significantly worse than actual wifi audio
Mine arrives today. I have been using a Rode Wireless go for the last three years. Looking forward to test this out and hope it works for me. If not I will switch over to the Rode Wireless GO 2.
Ive heard it sound good on some videos, not good on others. Yours sounded "natural" to me. I 100% agree with the look. I will likely be painting over it a flat black matte color. I ordered the Lark M2 also, so will likely try them both and end up using both for different applications
Great overview, I've been looking at the Mic 2 but i knew right off the bat it sounded dull compared to the other competitors or its predecessor. Im not a big fan of the "software" possibility of a fix since it could be a capsule design from manufactured. Maybe a recording "bug" with the NC still being used slightly? i dont know, we'll see
I agree sounds thin and flat. Btw, they might have made it that way because professional lavs often have the same bassless quality because if you attach a lav mic under the shirt on the chest it can have too much bass and sound muffled. So when you hold out the mic in front of you that's not typically how it would be used. But I could be giving DJI too much credit considering this is a consumer level device. I also prefer the look of the previous version. I do find it interesting the same mic can sound so different between reviewers.
Yeah, the modern day mics are a bit more flatter for a better eq experience but the dji mic sound hallow. I agree with you 100%. Hopefully it’s just a weird software bug
Yep. Sounds like garbage. Like a gaming headset mic. Curtis Judd spoke with DJI and they said they will fix some stuff via firmware update.. but, I’m concerned it’s the hardware. :/ Ugh. Huge bummer

Glad to hear you’re getting good results so far.
Thanks man for the honest review !!!!!!
Always!

Thanks for the clarification. Internal audio also sounded thin. Have a good one!

Congrats, hope you enjoy it and its issue free.

yeah, I believe Dji is saying it's a firmware issue. Hopefully, because hardware may mean some bigger headaches.
yeeeeah if its a hardware issue id rather just return, let me get the next wave haha@@TomWadeCine
Everyone who reviews it has a music in background and it sounds really thin tbh.
yeah, sound thin and flat to my ears

I’m interested in seeing what’s actually causing this too. Hopefully not hardware.
I have the same issue! It sounds terrible considering the price. Have you find any fix to that?
The firmware update they recently did made it sound a bit better to my ears

I heard, hopefully its truly a firmware issue and not hardware
